He joined the Euchre Group and after a couple of months took over the Activity Leader role on Tuesday and Friday afternoon. Bud enjoys being active in the Centre and added more volunteer time toward the Multi-Cultural Committee and in February became a new Director on the Board. Recently, on April 17th he asked to be trained on the Reception desk; it will be a pleasure walking in to the Centre and being greeted by Bud’s cheerful and caring personality. In his pre-Victoria days he was a math teacher, an engineer and was the General Manager for a non-profit organization. Having experienced mental health problems, Bud says he would like to be a peer supporter for those who are also dealing with mental health issues. Outside of his volunteer roles at the Centre, Bud’s hobbies are walking and watching sports of all kinds. Thank you Bud for all you have given and continue to give to our community.
