The Early Early Christmas Fair 2014
Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th September
Open For Longer So More Time To Shop!
Once again, we are delighted to invite you and your friends to enjoy a day's shopping at the Early
Early Christmas Fair (EEC Fair) 2014, in aid of ABF The Soldiers' Charity, which is to be held in the
grounds of Tedworth Park. This year’s Fair, which will be opened by Lady Carter, will begin earlier
than usual and be open from 2pm – 6pm on Tuesday the 23rd September. There will be a ticket
only Reception from 6.30pm – 9.30pm. The Fair will then be open again on Wednesday the 24th of
September from 9.30am – 4pm.
The EEC Fair is a lovely day out to shop, eat and chat with friends and family. You'll find inspiring
gifts and treats for everyone, including delicious food items, fashion, personalised stationery, books,
beautiful things for your home and garden, gifts for men & women, gifts for children and babies,
beauty products, pictures, Christmas decorations, stocking fillers and more. Over 90 stallholders
(40 new this year) and each one will give 10% of every purchase you make to The Soldiers' Charity.
This year we have a book signing stand in aid of the Charity, where you will have the opportunity to
purchase and have signed a book by a number of distinguished military authors including: General
Sir Mike Jackson, President of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity; Major General Patrick Cordingley; Major
General Christopher Elliott; James Heneage and others.
In addition to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, we will be supporting Horatio’s Garden. Horatio’s Garden
is a charity that builds beautiful gardens for patients at spinal treatment centres. Named after
Horatio Chapple, whose ideas inspired the first garden at Salisbury District Hospital, the charity
organises all sorts of creative and therapeutic activities for patients to enjoy in the gardens.
We would like to thank our main sponsors, Aspire Defence and General Dynamics, who have
supplied and have given their names to the marquees which house all our stalls. Our thanks also
must go to the Royal Wessex Yeomanry, who will this year provide the food and refreshments; Field
and Lawn who supply our marquees and Wiltshire Life, our media partners. In addition, we are
grateful to all the advertisers who support us and to all our stallholders who source so many
interesting and original products.
Finally, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone including yourselves and all our
volunteers for making this such a great event and we look forward to seeing you there.
Our money goes to help our soldiers, their families and their children.
We look after them for life.
