1. AQUACLUB

For over twenty years, this Brazilian brand has
been expressing its style through ever-more
colourful, vibrant swimwear designs. Since
its start, Aquaclub has been offering spunky,
sparkling colours with carefully designed cuts
to flatter women’s bodies.
2. CALIPIGE
Calipige was created in 2013 by two sisters
from Martinique who approach the swimsuit
like a second skin. These 100% Made in
France products are fine-tuned for fit and were
especially designed to work with a variety of
body shapes. This young brand offers stylish
designs in the hottest colours for a beautiful
figure.
3. COLOR-CODE
Founded in 2011 in Belgium, Color-Code is
a men‘s underwear brand offering classic
cuts in 100% organic cotton, bright colours
and original prints – and all very fashion
forward. Quality materials and skilful finishing
guarantee total comfort, and the new S/S
2015 collection promises even more pep and
comfort.
4. FRANK DANDY
Since 2003, Frank Dandy has been offering
an alternative to men‘s underwear with a
collection that is more colourful and finely
crafted with every collection. Frank Dandy
also creates basics for women in the brand‘s
signature colourful palette and slightly offbeat
style that makes all the difference.
5. GARCON FRANÇAIS
Garçon Français, a young, 100% Made in France
men’s underwear brand, is modelled after the
modern Frenchman – a sexy, fun guy who takes
good care of himself. The brand also conveys
the image of Frenchmen internationally,
with the goal of reaching all men who feel
comfortable with their bodies and are in sync
with the times.
6. JULIET DUNN
Juliet Dunn is a British beachwear designer
with a Bohemian aesthetic. Her line
includes entirely hand-embroidered designs
embellished with beads and sequins: caftans,
dresses, tunics and some one-of-a-kind pieces.

with a vintage-inspired collection.
8. LINGERIE LA NOUVELLE
A new lingerie brand out of marseille has
romance as the leitmotif. The line is above all
comfortable and easy to wear, but each piece
also expresses a feel for fashion and the latest
trends.The brand’s beachwear-inspired lingerie
collection in soft fabrics is a real delight, with
bandeaux tops, bra-tops and bodysuits that can
(almost) be worn at the beach.
9. LOVE STORIES
This new lingerie brand presents its first
ever collection this year − a refined, fashionforward, modern line in silk, lace and stylish
prints. Love Stories also offers urban models
that tap into the world of sports and a lace

10. LUDIQUE
This new Romanian designer lingerie brand
features handmade collections in limited
editions. Delicate and refined like a second
skin, the designs incorporate a lot of playful
lacing and transparent effects to perfectly

body. Ludique’s avant-garde designs mix sexy
and functional cuts for a look that fuses erotic

11. MAISON LEJABY
A 130-year tradition of savoir-faire and
innovation
Maison Lejaby’s ‘The Spirit of French Couture’
tagline perfectly expresses the brand’s identity

charms. Maison Lejaby is a pioneer in the

This all new London men’s beachwear brand
embodies an energetic attitude in the colours of
Africa. The brand’s mix of cultures stems from its
young British owner of Nigerian descent, who hopes
to bring a contemporary African spirit to the world
of fashion. Okun is a young, optimistic brand that
also evokes respect for heritage and traditions.

13. PONCHOBIKINI
Ponchobikini was founded in 2010 by Monica Vos
as an expression of her lifestyle and travels in Italy,
Spain and America. This young brand offers several
collections: the winter season revolves around the
poncho, with wool as the primary material, and the
summer collection is based on bikinis in silk, linen
and cotton.

was originally known for manufacturing swimwear
with artisan techniques. The brand has now evolved

REDPOINT
Founded in the Caribbean, this accessories brand
combines expertise, design and fashion in a
collection with an increasingly artistic approach.
Each season, a different artist is invited as guest
designer. The Rubi & Cube collection includes

company is committed to sustainable practices in

This new Italian brand presents a diverse range

Everything went well, and the experience was as
good as we had hoped. We spent three straight days
in meetings with our suppliers, but were also able to
find new brands. Overall, we are very satisfied with
our visit and we found everything we were looking
for, as expected.

For me, Mode City is an essential part of my
season; it’s when I see the majority of my largest
international suppliers, where I can go over the
season with them and where I take time to review
the collections in person. My visit to the show
is largely made up of working with my current
suppliers and meeting some new ones. The show is
a bit too short for me to wander up and down the
aisles looking for new brands, but Eurovet is there
to point me toward the ones that stand out from the
crowd.

The shows let me compare a wide range of French
and international brands. The primary goal of my
visit is to short-list the labels that interest me, and
later I get back in touch with them to finalise things.
I come to Paris for several days to meet my suppliers,
discover new brands and meet other retailers. It’s
absolutely necessary for me to come in January and
July because the choices and the collections aren’t
the same. My customers expect to find a varied and
cutting-edge selection in the boutique, and I can
only find fresh, new ideas at the trade shows. The
show is the meeting place that gives you a kick-start
for the rest of the season!
