A seven-blend line, made in Ecuador and Nicaragua was introduced by Dulce Vida, LLC in
2008. For 2009, the line was revamped and there are two major blends: Orange, with a
Dominican-grown, Sumatra-seed maduro wrapper (medium-to-full body), and Purple, mediumbodied but also with a Sumatra-seed wrapper. There are six sizes. A mild Turquoise Band
style, with a Candela wrapper, is also available.

This much-respected line was introduced in 1994 and offer brilliantly-made cigars in a variety
of blends. The Premium Line is mild-to-medium in body with natural wrappers while the
maduro-wrapped shapes are medium-to-full. The Reserva Especial line is medium-to-full in all
shapes; the Tubos series was introduced in 2001. The Cameroon Cabinets Series debuted in
2007 and is full-bodied.
The Ligero series was introduced in 2001 and is medium-to-full-bodied, featuring a spectacular
Ecuadorian-grown wrapper for all shapes. The Double Ligero group was introduced in 2003
and is very full in body with a special tapered head to allow an easy draw in the Chisel series!
The Ligero Oscuro Cabinets were introduced in 2007, full-bodied, and feature a jet-black
Sumatra-seed wrapper from Ecuador.
The wild Mysterio perfectos started with the 2006 version, using a Nicaraguan wrapper and
ends wrapped in Connecticut Broadleaf maduro! For 2007, the oscuro version uses a
Ecuadorian wrapper and Ecuadorian Connecticut-seed ends, offered in gift-style packs of five.
The Little Cigars debuted in 2007 and are made by hand. The Daiquiris come in a choice of an
Ecuadorian natural or Connecticut Broadleaf maduro wrapper while the Mojitos are wrapped
with Cameroon leaf. The Carajos, introduced in 2008, is medium-bodied using an Oscuroshade Ecuadorian-grown, Sumatra-seed wrapper and Dominican-grown binder and filler
(boxes of six).
Brand creator Litto Gomez is famous for his limited-production cigars and has multiple special
projects available. A Lancero (7 x 38) is available in the Double Ligero line (natural and
maduro) in boxes of 20; two styles of Culebras are sometimes available, in a smaller size (6
1/2 x 30) in natural and maduro and a Culebra Gorda (7 x 38), in boxes of one; and special
cabinet editions of the Maduro No. 5 and 6.

This is a medium-bodied smoke of absolutely exquisite quality made in the El Credito factory in
Miami, Florida (primarily for local sale only) and in a larger facility in Villa Gonzalez, Dominican
Republic. Most sizes are offered in boxes of 25, except for the Crown Imperial and the
Piramides (made only in Miami), which are offered in boxes of 10, the Glorias en Cedro (14s
and 7s) and the Hermosos (30s). The maduro shapes utilize a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper.
The Wavell Extra was created in 2009 for a special holiday package.
The Serie R debuted in 1999 and offers a full-bodied flavor in both natural (Ecuador) and
maduro (Connecticut) wrappers in boxes of 24. The Glorias en Crystal features a glass tube in

This brand was introduced in 1994, went off the market for some years until re-introduced by
Drew Estate in 2002 and now revised for 2006. Originally made in New York (1994-96), it was
made in Miami by Nick’s Cigar Company from 1996-1998, then in Nicaragua since 2002.
There’s one leaf of medium filler and four different wrappers: Connecticut and Cuban Corojo
(both grown in Ecuador), Cameroon and Brazilian maduro. There are two Connecticut-grown
binders on the Brazil and Cameroon-wrapped versions and Indonesian binders on the others.
Three of the blends are full-bodied, with the Connecticut-wrapped style medium-to-full. All
sizes are offered in boxes of 20 except for the Gordito Ricos, in 16s.

Keith Meier at Cigars International started this series as a challenge between four makers to
offer a special blend in one size. The list of makers has expanded to ten and the brand began
national distribution in 2007. The Puros Indios blend (green band) is mild; the blends from
Cusano (gray), La Aurora (black) and MATASA (blue) are mild-to-medium; the blends from
Graycliff (purple), Perdomo (red) and rocky Patel (orange) are medium in body; the Camacho
(white), Plasencia (maroon; added in 2009) and Pepin Garcia (yellow) blends are medium-tofull. All use natural-shade wrappers except for the Perdomo and the Plasencia, which have

This brand was introduced, in one size (the Parejo) with limited distribution, by Drew Estate in
2007. It features a Broadleaf wrapper with a full body. Only 80,000 cigars were made in the
first production run, but it proved popular enough to be expanded to four sizes in 2008, all in
boxes of 24.
The astonishing “Flying Pig” size was added in 2009, after Drew Estate president Steve Saka
saw the size illustrated in a photograph of an 1895 cigar salesman’s case! Only 24,000 of this
tiny perfecto were made, offered in boxes of 12.

Habano-seed tobacco that was stalk-cut (harvesting the entire plant at once) instead of
harvested leaf-by-leaf, and used them in this 2009-introduced blend. It’s full-bodied with
distinctive peppery notes in a combination of seven different types of tobacco! Both sizes are
offered in boxes of 24.
