GROUND TRANSPORTATION: Raleigh‐Durham International Airport is approximately 16 miles, a 20‐30 minute drive, from the conference center. One‐way taxi fare is about $40. The Rizzo Conference Center does not provide shuttle service to/from the airport. Local van shuttle service within a 5‐mile radius is available to registered guests at no charge. WEATHER: Early April in Chapel Hill is usually mild, with highs in the upper 60s to lower 70s and lows in the mid‐40s to mid‐50s. ATTIRE: Business casual for meeting sessions and the Lenoir County Site Visit. The networking social on April 6 and outdoor BBQ on April 7 are casual. EXPENSES: All meals are covered for overnight guests of the Rizzo Conference Center, including dinner and full breakfast for each night you stay. For all registrants, a continental breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided on April 7 and 8 and the outdoor BBQ is free of charge. Alcoholic beverages served during the networking social, poster session and outdoor BBQ are not included in meeting expenses and are not reimbursable. Please follow your institutional requirements for travel expense reporting. FINDING YOUR WAY AROUND: The Rizzo Conference Center is a 3‐building campus. Overnight guests should check in at the lobby of McLean Hall. The DuBose House is a Georgian Revival styled home where overnight guests can eat breakfast and dinner. Loudermilk Hall contains most of the Center’s conference and meeting rooms. If you need assistance locating rooms, please refer to the map provided in the Logistics section of your conference booklet, to be given out upon check‐in. You may also ask the front desk, hotel staff, or any Rizzo Conference Center employee. When making inquiries, please refer to the “CPHHD Annual Meeting.” MEETING CHECK‐IN: Please plan to visit the check‐in desk in the lobby of McLean Hall upon your arrival to pick up your conference materials.
