TERMS AND CONDITION:
1. Tender form can be purchased from this office on payment of Rs. 500/- in cash or by
post sending a request alongwith a DD of Rs. 550.00 in favour of CPRS payable at
Jalandhar. The tender documents can also be downloaded from our Website
http//cpri.ernet.in & National portal but the cost of tender i.e. Rs.500/- in the shape of
BD in favour of “CPRS” payable at Jalandhar is required to be enclosed alongwith the
tender downloaded from the website.
2. All tendering bidders shall have to attach Bank Draft of Rs.2,00,000/- with the tender
as Earnest Money from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “CPRS” payable at
Jalandhar.
3. Copy of PAN card to be attached with the Tender form.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
01
The intending bidder will have to deposit Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees Two Lac only) as Earnest
Money by way of Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque drawn in favour of “CPRS” payable at Jalandhar
which will be returned to the un-successful bidders except the highest bidder after completion
of the tender proceeding.

The highest bidder shall immediately pay 25% of bid money after tender is opened.

The balance amount of the bid will be deposited by the highest bidder within two weeks after
acceptance of the bid by Competent Authority. In case the amount is not deposited within the
period specified, the 25% of amount so for deposited will be forfeited. The contractor will not
be allowed to participate in any auction/tender for next one year. The re-auction of trees will be
made at the risk and cost of the contracting agency.

The trees will be removed by the contractor within 45 days from the period of sanction letter to
cut the trees.

The successful bidder will have to cut the trees as per the instructions given by the Head,
Central Potato Research Station, Jalandhar or his Representative. The tree shall be cut and
their roots removed within the specified period.

The highest bidder will have to deposit security equal to 10% of the highest bid, which will be
returnable to the contractor after completion of the contract without causing any damages to
Government Property.,

The successful bidder shall be responsible for any damage casued to the Government/Private
property viz Building, barbed wire fancying, Electric Wire etc and other standing trees which
are not included in the auction and pits will be filed to the ground level.
08
No trees will be cut before sunrise and after sun set during, Gazetted and other Holidays.
09
Octroi/any other taxes if payable is paid by the bidder to the concerned department direct.

The trees will be auctioned /Sold strictly on “AS IS WHERE IS” basis.

The operations connected within the cutting/loading atc. will be the sole responsibility of the
bidder.

Contractor will not sublet any work related to this contract to any other person in any case.
13
Income tax (TCS) at prescribed rates @ 2.5% and 3% educational surcharges on income tax
will be charged on the highest bid offered by successful bidder.

The Head, Central Potato Research Station, Jalandhar reserves the rights to accept/reject any
bid without assigning any reasons.
15
The PAN card is essential for participation in tender proceedings.
16
Stamp paper worth of Rs. 50/- for executing agreement/undertaking will be submitted by
successful contractor. The specimen for the same will be provided by the CPRS, Jalandhar.
