Program Guidelines and Policies
The After School Club policies have been updated. Please read and note that these policies
will all be in effect for all sessions.
1. Parents are responsible for their children between the close of school at 3:00 and the beginning of clubs
at 3:15. Please make appropriate arrangements. School personnel are not responsible for your children,
and will not supervise them. Additionally, children who register for 4:20 clubs may not remain
unsupervised in the building when school is dismissed at 3:00.
2. Please remember that students of both schools are eligible for all classes, regardless of location. Parents
are responsible for transportation.
3. Enrollment, room location, time and dates of all After School Clubs will be posted on the PTA Bulletin
Boards at Greenville and Seely Place. Please check those boards carefully. No phone calls will be made to
let you know if your child has been admitted to a club and there will be no reminders of start and end
dates. Once clubs begin there will be no refunds or credits of fees for any reason.
4. Please make sure to pick up your child promptly after each class. Instructors are not responsible for your
child after class is over.
5. Behavior of your child enrolled in an After-School Club must be consistent with the proper behavior
expected in the classroom during normal school hours. If a student’s behavior is repeatedly disruptive to
the extent that it affects the functioning of the club, the student’s parents/guardians will be put on notice
that if the disruption continues the student may be removed from all future sessions of the club and no
refund will be given.
6. Instructors are not obligated to make-up classes – indoors or out - that are cancelled for weatherrelated reasons. Parents or caregivers of students enrolled in After School Clubs must check their emails
and the After School Club bulletin boards daily while clubs are in session for important updates.

If schools are closed due to inclement weather, there will be no After-School Clubs.

Outdoor clubs may be cancelled due to weather even when school grounds are open.
7. If a minimum enrollment is not met, it may be necessary to cancel clubs that were originally offered. If
this happens, you will be notified by the After School Clubs and given the option to enroll your child in a
different club.
8. Registration is not on a first come, first serve basis. When the number of applicants exceeds the
maximum class size, a lottery will be held. There will not be a carryover from one session to the next. If a
class is oversubscribed and your child does not get in through the lottery, you will not be given
preference for that club for the next session. Each session, sign-ups are only for that specific session. If a
club goes to lottery for a second consecutive session, your child is ineligible for that lottery if they have
already taken that club earlier in the year, until all other children interested have had a chance to take the
club. This will allow as many children as possible to participate in the available clubs throughout the year.
If there is room, a child may take the same club in consecutive sessions.

Greenville Families
Dear Greenville Parents,
We introduced a new program with our Fall session, thanks to the generosity of Ms. Ryan and yourselves,
which enabled students to gather together in a designated room for the time between the end of the school
day and the beginning of clubs.
We would like to continue this program. As you register your children, please keep in mind that we will ask
you to volunteer at least one 15-minute period during the session. We will follow up with a calendar once
classes are confirmed
If we can’t get volunteers to help, everyone will continue to be responsible for their child(ren) during that 15
minute period, as in the past.
Thank you in advance for your help!

rechargeable electric motor and flight times that last over two minutes!
 Then we’ll launch the AERO QUEST five stories high using handmade sling shots and watch as
they spiral down.
 After that we’ll embark on our first all-wooden model, the ANGEL VI. Sporting removable
wings and components, this futuristic plane is specially designed for acrobatic flight maneuvers
including loops and boomerang returns. From there we’ll tackle another motorized plane.
 The MAGNUM, our most resilient all-weather model, includes a built-in flight timer and can
glide the length of a football field.
 And to finish with a bang we’ll build the all-wooden FUGA. Excellent at handling sharp
