Crawford Welcomes Robbie Parks We are excited to announce Robbie Parks as Crawford’s newest Director of Marketing and Product Development for the adaptive market. In addition to over twenty years of professional experience in sports equipment development and sales, Parks brings a breadth of hands-on experience as a coach and an accomplished life-long athlete—from bodybuilding to waterskiing, adaptive deer hunting to cycling. In the 1990s, Parks focused much of his athletic career on weightlifting and body building. In 1993 alone, he took home the gold and silver medals in the International and US Weightlifting competitions, respectively, followed by placing third overall in the National Body Building Championships three years in a row from 1994-1996. Parks later went on to become the Silver Medalist in National Water Ski Championships in 2008 and 2011, as well as the Bronze Medalist in 2012. Parks was influential in the founding of the South Eastern Wheelchair Sports Association and Games in addition to being a Co-Founder and Past President of the Triad Trackers Wheelchair Basketball Team. Presently, Parks is a member of the US Disabled Weightlifting Team, the USQRA Carolina Crash Rugby team, the ASAP Hand Cycling team and the USA Disabled Water Ski team. Additionally he serves a peer mentor and equipment consultant for Adaptive Sports programs both domestically and internationally. We are thrilled and honored to have Robbie on our team!
