Crowley’s Ridge College has hosted its
Annual Bible Lectureship since 2001. Each year
we choose a book or books from the Bible,
and we invite talented speakers to lecture on
a portion of the book(s). We alternate our
selection from the Old Testament and New
Testament from year to year. This year’s New
Testament theme is “ACTS: You Will Be My
Witnesses.”
More than 100 different individuals have
spoken in our annual lectureship, including
more than 50 alumni. Speakers have come
from seven states and include such men as Earl
Edwards, Neale Pryor, Ralph Gilmore, Jimmy
Allen, Earl West, Jimmy Adcox, Eddie Cloer,
Spencer Furby, Ted Knight, L.V. Pfeifer, G.W.
Allison, Monte Cox, Deron Smith, Harold Redd,
Bill Wheeler, Carroll Sites, Steve Reeves, and
many others.
The Book and Theme for the 16th Annual
Bible Lectureship will be announced during the
final evening of the lectureship. We invite you
to be our guest as we explore the great texts
of God’s Holy Word.

Crowley’s Ridge College
Crowley’s Ridge College, in its 51st year,
is located in Paragould, near the crest of
scenic Crowley’s Ridge. The 150-acre rolling
hill, pine tree covered campus, with a lake
in the center, provides natural beauty which
translates into a fitting environment for a
Christian Liberal Arts education. Located
on the western city limits of Paragould, the
residential campus contains seven buildings
totaling more than 88,000 square feet.
CRC is accredited by The Higher Learning
Commission and is a member of The North
Central Association. The college has an open
admissions policy and offers associate and
bachelors degrees. While affiliated with the
Churches of Christ, CRC welcomes students
of all religious backgrounds. CRC’s academic
program is designed to integrate spiritual
life, service, and scholarship. Small class
sizes allow for an extraordinary amount of
personal attention that translates into greater
student success. The faculty to student ratio is
10:1.
CRC’s close-knit community allows a
student ample opportunity for extracurricular
activities as well as leadership opportunities.
The college has an active student life
program, which includes drama productions,
intramural sports, retreats, choral music
groups, backpacking, canoeing, and ski
outings.
The inter-collegiate sports program at
CRC includes institutional participation in men’s
basketball, baseball, and soccer; and women’s
basketball, volleyball, and softball.
