Cet événement se tiendra les 4 et 5 juin, 2015 au Centre des congrès hôtel Gouverneur le Noranda, à Rouyn-Noranda. Cette conférence se déroulera sous la coprésidence d’honneur du Président du Secrétariat aux alliances économiques Nation Crie Abitibi-Témiscamingue, Dr. Ted Moses et le Maire de Rouyn-Noranda, M. Mario Provencher. Le Nord et sa Logistique est la première conférence de son genre qui rassemblera les parties prenantes dans la chaîne d’approvisionnement, précisément ceux du Nord-du-Québec. The Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance in collaboration with the city of RouynNoranda and the Grand Council of the Crees is organizing a conference entitled: The North and its Logistics. This event will be held on June 4 and 5, 2015 at the Centre des congrès hôtel Gouverneur le Noranda, in Rouyn-Noranda. This event will take place under the Honorary Co-Chairs the President of the Secretariat to the Cree Nation Abitibi-Témiscamingue Economic Alliance, Dr. Ted Moses and the Mayor of the city of Rouyn-Noranda, Mr. Mario Provencher. The North and its Logistics is the first conference of its kind which will reunite stakeholders in the chain supply, precisely those of Nord-duQuébec. Au cours de la conférence nous traiterons du Nord-du-Québec, son développement passé, actuel et futur et nous nous renseignerons sur la logistique (route, aérien, ferroviaire, transport maritime, communications). Nous nous questionnerons sur où se situe nos régions comparativement aux autres régions de la province. Nous rassemblerons les principaux acteurs de la logistique et apprendrons à connaître leurs spécificités. Nous parlerons de la compétitivité et les coûts de la logistique du Nord (essence, nourriture, accès au territoire et énergie) et avant tout, nous parlerons d’opportunité et d’avenir. During the conference we will discuss Nord-du-Québec, its past, present and future development and we will learn about its logistics (road, air, railway, maritime transportation, and communications). We will question ourselves on where our regions are situated compared to other areas of the province. We will gather the main actors of logistics and we will learn about their specificities. We will discuss competitiveness and logistic costs of the north (petrol, food, access to the territory and energy) and above all, we will discuss opportunities for the future.
