FAQ What about safety? There will be an adult in each room with 3-‐4 students. While on the trip, students will check in with a leader continuously and will never be by themselves. Encourage your child to drink a lot of water prior to camp and during the week of camp. Dehydration is a contributor to sickness. What about medications? All prescription medications need to be turned in the day we leave for camp and will be dispersed as needed by an adult, unless you gave your student permission to keep their medication themselves (we will need a note stating they can self-‐medicate). Medicines like Tylenol, Advil, etc. can also be kept by the student. If your student will be taking any prescribed medications indicate this on the registration form for your student. What meals will be provided at camp? Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided for your student at camp. Your student will need to eat ALL 3 meals each day. Students will need to bring snacks (granola bars, chips, cookies, etc.) for their room if they want to have something to snack on throughout the week. Students will also be provided with a refillable water bottle at camp. There will be ice and tap water available to them in their rooms. They will have water and other drinks at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If your teenager has any food allergies, please let us know as soon as possible. How much spending money should my student bring to camp? We will stop at fast food restaurants coming and going from camp. Also, your student will have the opportunity to buy snacks, and souvenirs at Six Flags. Please use your discretion. What about transportation? We will be taking charter buses with Red Carpet Charters to camp. Each driver is CDL certified and there will be adults on each bus throughout the trip. Students will be assigned to a bus for the trip (they will be on a bus with their friends), and will not be allowed to change buses. At night – girls will sit in the front of the bus and guys will sit in the back of the bus, with leaders in between the two groups. Can I find out before camp who my student is rooming with? Each student is guaranteed ONE of their roommate choices listed on the sign-‐up form. We will not give out rooming information until students arrive the day we leave. All rooming is done by our staff and is done in the best interest of each student attending camp. Please trust us in this.
