Research demonstrates reducing microbial contamination in the environment reduces the risk of
infection, and while UVGI is a proven germicide, numerous barriers exist to effectively implement and
use this form of technology without disrupting facility operations. As a result, numerous facilities have
deemed ultraviolet light unusable, costly, and ineffective in lowering hospital acquired infections. CSGI
provides scalable solutions to implement disinfection technology across
geographies with a clinically-effective, measurable, and replicable methodology.
From CSGI’s Analytics Management Portal (AMP) to state-of-the-art ultraviolet
disinfection technology, CSGI provides a complete suite of implementation
solutions to customers. Customers may utilize CSGI’s onsite field technicians and
equipment in 16-24 hour shifts 7 days a week, or customers may purchase the UV
technology with an “ease-of-use” focused training for facility staff and ongoing
program support solutions. While the CSGI direct service model best suits a
majority of facilities, it may not be a feasible solution for all. We offer the ability
to purchase the IRS 3200, IRS 1140, or a combination of both. We also offer the
ability to purchase and implement the Analytic Management Portal (AMP) along
with these devices to ensure the best outcomes outside of our direct service
model. Please contact us today to see how we can help you resolve the threat of
deadly microbes in your facility.

As a result of using CSGI’s advanced UV implementation solutions, one
customer realized a facility-wide, 34.3% reduction (p <0.001) in hospital
acquired infections and a savings of greater than $500,000 in 6 months post-
implementation.
CSGI works hard at bringing true value to customers by:
-
-
Showing a return on investment ranging from thousands to millions of dollars after implementing
CSGI protocols and software support systems to maximize the effectiveness of disinfection
technologies.
Reducing the cost of implementing advanced technology by using fewer devices and operators to
disinfect more locations.
Reducing surgical site infections and associated cost with enhanced Operating Room environmental
disinfecting.
Improving HCAHPS scores and/or better customer satisfaction surveys.
Providing persistent and proactive on-site education to healthcare providers, patients, and their
visitors.
Implementing long-term outreach programs to help lower acute care facility readmission rates.
Increasing UV disinfection frequency by over 1,000%.
Incorporating a statistical measurement of treatment quality for every intervention.
Providing a standardized, measurable process to disinfect customer facilities.
“CSGI has helped to mitigate the reservoir of contamination in the
environment, thereby resulting in a decrease of hospital acquired
infections for the facility, and reducing the costs associated with HAIs.”

Contaminated Environments Increase the Risk and Cost of Healthcare-Associated Infections
Numerous studies have demonstrated a contaminated environment is a significant risk factor in the
acquisition of nosocomial infections, and reducing environmental contamination significantly reduces
nosocomial risk. Deadly pathogens such as Clostridium difficile exist in a facility’s environment for
prolonged periods and are inadequately removed with traditional cleaning methods.

The Advantages of CSGI’s Clinically-Proven Methodology
The epidemiological link between the inanimate healthcare environment and nosocomial infections
provides healthcare facilities an excellent opportunity to improve clinical outcomes while realizing a
significant return on investment. Clean Sweep Group, Inc.’s specialization in the use of advanced
disinfection technologies maximizes the technologies’ utility and efficacy, thus maximizing the value and
return on investment.
From room to equipment disinfection, CSGI offers a suite of disinfection technology service solutions to
break the chain of infection and transference. CSGI’s experienced technicians follow evidence-based
methods to strategically target critical transmission points throughout client facilities, minimizing
microbial reservoirs and preempting infection clusters. If a direct service model is not your facility’s
pursuit, we offer options to help you properly implement an ultraviolet light program utilizing the IRS
32000m or IRS 1140 (See options section).

Custom Isolation and Equipment Disinfection Tracking Software
CSGI’s technicians are equipped with the CSGI’s Analytic Management Portal (AMP), a proprietary
mobile software developed to manage daily service operations. CSGI AMP ensures rooms and
equipment are routinely disinfected using the correct procedure, and provides a historical database all
of room and treatments with easily exported reports.
Unprecedented Accountability and Quality Control
Clean Sweep Group, Inc. delivers regular assessment reports to ensure quality of service over time.
CSGI’s unique service model incorporates Steri-Trak™, a web based data tracking, and scheduling
program that ensures our team meets your
compliance requirements.
Steri-Trak™ allows customers to track their account
activity and treatment status online and in real
time, 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure
their facilities are being appropriately serviced.
Steri-Trak™ produces electronic reports on:


When a room/space was treated
What type of treatment a room received
Time of treatment
Which CSGI technician conducted the treatment

In addition to Steri-Trak, CSGI’s AMP software allows remote monitoring of CSGI’s
service performance or your technicians, analyzing frequency, location, and quality of
treatments. From detection of a deteriorating UV device to a technician error, CSGI’s
analytics team monitors the daily performance of CSGI’s technology and technicians,
and can give a precise level of statistical confidence whether any single UV treatment
was properly performed. Daily attention to performance data guarantees the highest
quality of service over time by proactively identifying and correcting issues.
Infection Prevention Analysis and Onsite Education
CSGI’s Infection Prevention team perform an ongoing assessment of client’s infection
prevention strategies and partner with the Infection Control Department to craft
educational inservices routinely delivered by CSGI’s technicians. CSGI’s experienced
technicians offer the Infection Control Department an effective and responsive
means of communicating infection prevention best practices to hospital staff and
visitors. In addition to educational inservices, CSGI conducts routine
environmental hygiene monitoring -- including environmental cultures, ATP

Sub-Acute and LTCF Educational Program
Partnering with our client’s local sub-acute and long-term care “feeder” facilities, CSGI has designed a
no-cost educational program to reduce infections across the continuum of care. In participating
facilities, CSGI’s Educational Program Coordinators (EPCs) provide a facility-wide assessment of infection
control practices and policies, and give occupation-specific infection control aptitude tests to identify
knowledge gaps. Once facility-specific weaknesses have been identified, our EPCs deliver routine
infection prevention inservices while continually measuring the facility’s progress.
Measurable Results
In addition to a 4-6 log reduction of fomites in treated spaces, clients dramatically reduce the risk of
transmission resulting in decreased infection rates. In an acute care community hospital setting, Clean
Sweep Group, Inc.’s service has been associated with a statistically significant reduction in the facilitywide nosocomial rate, including hospital-onset Clostridium difficile. The direct savings attributed to a
decreased nosocomial rate resulted in positive return on investment within weeks.
