School marks for these courses are moderated by the Ministry of Education, and the final mark in these courses is determined by the Ministry, NOT by the particular school. Consequently, the final June mark in these courses is NOT given on the FINAL SCHOOL REPORT – instead, the final mark for these courses is given on the Ministry of Education Statement of Marks, which you should receive during the first or second week of July. The school regulates all courses other than those mentioned above. The final mark for these courses appears on the final school June report, which you should receive during the first week of July. Thus, some students may have to register for a summer course before they know for sure whether or not they need to take it. If a student registers for a summer course and then finds out from either the school report or the Ministry of Education report that it is not necessary, there will be a partial refund. Refund Policy and Attendance Policy Full refund If a summer course is cancelled or if a student registers for a summer course and then finds out from either the school report or the Ministry of Education report that they have in fact passed the course, they will be refunded for the course. Partial refund If a student withdraws from a course for a reason other course cancellation or finds out from the Ministry of Education report that they have in fact passed the course, they will be refunded for the course. No refund There will be no refund if a student withdraws (or is expelled from Summer School) from a course for any other reason than those stated above. 3
