Congrats to our club players and team mentor Brian O’Donovan who are part of the
County U14 panel that defeated Sligo in the 3rd round of the Connacht U 14
Championship.
Thank you to the 16 players who played for Corofin Ladies Seniors last Saturday in our
League game against Kilkerrin Clonberne. Well done especially to the 9 underage
players who turned out for us for the game. We put in a competitive performance
against the county and Connacht champions – Kilkerrin-Clonberne. We were leading on
several occasions, until midway through the second half when their greater panel
numbers and the fresh legs of our opponents overwhelmed us. Final score was
Kilkerrin-Clonberne 2-20 to Corofin 3-8.
Next training session for the senior panel is Saturday 25th April at 7pm in Belclare.
Please make every effort to attend so that we can begin to increase the number of
players who are match ready. The next Senior League fixture versus Clonbur is down to
be played on 16th May.
