Info 403-221-8799 Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP): Register Completion of NPP can change your life and strengthen your family relationships as you begin to learn and practice the nurturing principles. Parents meet for weekly group sessions and then practice the skills at home and/or onsite with their children. NPP is part of CUPS Pre-Natal to Three and One World Child Development Centre’s parent education. Finding Our Voices: Register Join this 6 week self-esteem group starting March 31st, followed by a 14 week domestic violence group starting Sept 2015.This program is offered to women who want to develop their self-esteem and/or are at risk of experiencing or have experienced domestic violence. Magic Carpet Ride: Drop-in to listen to stories, learn new songs and rhymes, engage in activities with your children. This is a great way to help them get ready for school! Peer Support Services for Abused Women (PSSAW): Register You can still join this self-esteem group and have the option to join the 14 week domestic violence group. This program is offered to women who want to develop their self-esteem and/or are at risk of experiencing or have experienced domestic violence. Ends Mar 10 and starts again Mar 31. Women’s Chat Group: Register/ Drop-in This group is an informal opportunity to get together with other people to talk and meet new people. CUPS Child Development Centres: The Centres work with parents and children to provide support, education (including Nurturing Parenting) and training related to parenting and child development. The Pre-Natal to Three Child Development Centre supports families with pre-natal - 35 month old children. One World supports families with pre-school & kindergarten (3-6 years) children. CUPS Dental Program: Adult & children’s services include exams, cleanings, fillings, extractions, x-rays, emergency dental care. Dental coverage is required (e.g., Alberta Works, AISH, NHIB, Child Health Benefits). Saturdays – Adult extractions only; no dental coverage required. Info: 403-206-1060.
