AO Gas Booster Package The AO-booster is supplied as complete package with all the hoses and valves needed to start using your booster straight from the box (no connectors and drive air regulator are included). The booster is a compressed air driven booster designed specifically for Oxygen service. It is well suited to both re-breather and open circuit divers. Its unique design ensures that there will be no cross contamination between the drive air and the booster gas. The booster can safely be run from a typical workshop pressure compressor, or directly from a Scuba cylinder. The unique design of the booster unit means it is extremely economical on use of drive air. The booster will boost air, oxygen, helium and argon to a maximum pressure of 250 bar (300 bar as option), it is safe and easy to use, and has a long service life. The manual supplied provides users with all the information and guidance required for operation, care, servicing and repair; should a fault occur. We offer the gas booster as a complete package, with all the hoses on inlet and outlet and a stop/venting charging valve on the outlet. The package is as standard supplied in a plastic Peli-case and a wide range of hose end adaptors are available to suit all common connection. In- and outlet hose, 2 m (finger tight connectors on hose). • • • • Performance test: Time taken to fill a 3 litre cylinder from 100 bar to 232 took 16 min (0.1 cubic ft from 1450 psi to 3,364 psi) with an inlet pressure of 70 bar (1,015 psi). During the test 1350 Nl of air was used to transfer 396 Nl of oxygen = 3,5 Nl air / Nl Oxygen. This is a representative test of typical usage and typical conditions; however, performance will vary depending on drive air, supply gas and discharge gas pressures. In- and outlet gauges 0-400 bar.
