CMOS sensor Image processor Recorder processor High-image-quality recording The 4K image data is recorded onto CFast (2.0) cards. Simultaneous output enabled RAW/RGB out Recording using an external recorder Involves the use of CINEMA RAW, a proprietary standard, that applies the Canon Log2 gamma . RAW data can be recoded on a external recorder, with the same workflows as the EOS C500 CINEMA RAW * Photos and figures are provided for illustration purposes only. 2 Two brand-new DIGIC DV5 image processors boasting a high data processing power are incorporated. By incorporating Dual Pixel CMOS AF with an expanded area in which focusing is possible, the problem of focusing during 4K shooting is significantly alleviated. Expanded area in which focusing is possible (what is inside the red frame can be moved) Dual Pixel CMOS AF is a ground-breaking AF technology that uses both imaging and phase difference AF. With the C300 Mark II, the focusing area has been expanded to approx. 80% of the image display on the screen. Face detection AF also supported by EF lenses Dual Pixel CMOS AF, now also supports face detection. With the EOS C100 Mark II, face detection was supported only by STM lenses AF speed tuning (10 steps) Users can tune the AF speed to suit different subject movement and produce more natural looking defocus and push pull effects. 25% 20% 80% 80% Tuning of AF subject tracking characteristics (7 steps) C100 DAF area in which focusing is possible C300 Mark II DAF area in which focusing is possible This function makes it possible to select the responsiveness when changes have occurred in the subject. When the subject is missing or the view of the subject becomes obstructed, users can select whether the subject is to be tracked immediately or after due consideration. * Photos and figures are provided for illustration purposes only. 5 AF system Browser Remote allows the camera to be remotely operated from a tablet or similar. In situations such as shooting from a crane or aerial shooting where manual focusing is hard to achieve, wireless focusing enables accurate AF shooting. Wireless focusing using Browser Remote Main AF functions of Browser Remote Using a general-purpose browser, almost all shooting operations and settings can be controlled from a tablet. The focusing area can now be moved by touch. Focusing area can be moved by touching the tablet. It enables users to see a more vivid picture and better supports the shooting of moving subjects. Organic EL CVF 液晶 CVF EOS C300 Mark II Blues and greens are reproduced especially vividly. Live View display is possible simultaneously on two units. For instance, with one unit used to check the focusing accomplished by the individual in charge of focusing and the other unit used for checking by the client or director.
