Invites you to the International student scientific conference - On topic 23. – 24. 9. 2015 In current modern society there is a prevailing effort of active application or at least of getting closer to the conditions of sustainable development. One of the key efforts of this strategy might be characterized by the attempt of creating a zero waste society with defined end-of-waste criteria, then as an effort to the multiple use of natural resources while reducing the energy consumption, CO2 release etc. Current waste production offers a wide range of options of using those materials as secondary raw materials into the road constructions. With an overall increase in the industrial production, much higher amount of waste is produced every day. The waste disposal is therefore a serious environmental, economic and social problem. The primer purpose of the use of secondary materials or byproducts in the road construction is a reduction of environmental burdens, as well as the economic and energy savings. The use of secondary materials will also play an increasing role in the optimization of material resources in the near future. The construction industry has therefore invested in recent years into the development and use of technologies for recycling and valuation of waste originating in particular from the energy industry. Conference Topics: i.Recycling Technology and Application in Civil Engineering ii.Secondary Materials - Current Trends of Research, Development and Innovations iii.Environmental and Economical Aspects of Secondary Materials Utilization in Civil Engineering CTU in Prague Faculty of Civil Engineering Department of Road Structures Thákurova 7 166 29 Prague 6 – Dejvice Jan Valentin (Ph.D.) [email protected] http://d2051.fsv.cvut.cz Organizing committee: Jan Valentin (Ph.D.) (CTU in Prague, Department of Road Structures) Václav Mráz (CTU in Prague, Department of Geotechnics) Zuzana Čížková (CTU in Prague, Department of Road Structures) Jan Suda (CTU in Prague, Department of Road Structures) Scientific committee: Petr Mondschein (Ph.D.) (CTU in Prague, Department of Road Structures) Jaroslav Výborný (Assoc.
