It’s Summer Theatre Camp!!!!!

This will be an intensive theatre workshop for children ages 4-18. Students will focus on improving and developing skills
in dance, acting and singing. We will present the musical Jungle Book! We be casting the following Parts: Baby
Elephant, Bagheera, Baloo, Bees, Bushes, Coconut Tree, Colonel Hathi, Elephant Troop, Flowers, Kaa & Coils, King
Louie, Monkeys, Mowgli, Old Monkey, Plants, Prickly Pears, Rocks, Shanti, Shaniti’s Family, Shere Khan, Trees,
Vultures, Wolves. We have plenty of parts for both boys and girls. There will also be many chorus numbers, solos and
speaking parts. This workshop is definitely for the student who loves performing!
We will need to know in advance of your child’s attendance so that we can plan accordingly regarding costuming, t-shirts,
etc. Parents, you will need to provide a costume or parts of costumes for the performances. After we cast the show, your
child will bring home information about what you will need to purchase to complete their costuming. Once you receive
your assignment, please be ready to quickly get your child’s costume together. If we have something in our costume
dock your child can wear we will let them know at the end of the first day. Also, please make sure to send a snack with
your child for break each day. All drinks must be clear drinks must have a top on them. All students will need to wear
comfortable clothes and tennis shoes to camp every day (No Sandals).
CAMP SCHEDULE
Monday, June 8th – 7:30 am Pre-Registration & 8:00 pm MEETING parents and students
*For those parents who are unable to stay for the meeting, all notes will be available in writing at pre-registration. Please
take the info with you and read it thru.
Monday June 8th 8:00am – 12:30 Tryouts and Music Rehearsal (there may be extra rehearsals for leads if needed)
Tuesday-Thursday, June 9-11th Rehearsal 8:00am - 12:30 pm at Dance Etcetera’s Studio
Friday, June 12th 8:00 am – 12:30 pm Rehearsal at Northeast High School Performing Arts Center
Camp performance’s will be Friday June 12th, Saturday 13th at 7:00pm and Sunday June 14th at 2:00pm – All
performances will last approximately 1 ½ hours. Admission to the show is $5 and it is General Seating. House will open
one hour prior to show time, so come early for a good seat!
EARLY EARLYBIRD REGISTRATION: $85 per child! Take advantage of our early sign up fee March 1- April 30th
Not only will this secure your application for camp but you get a big discount for signing up early!
EARLYBIRD REGISTRATION: $100 per child. This registration period is April 1st – June 6th.
WALK IN REGISTRATION: $125 per child.
You can pay the entire camp fee or pay a $50.00 deposit to hold your spot. All deposits and camp fees are nonrefundable. For immediate family with three or more campers, a Ten percent discount will be given.
