No matter how advanced digital storage
systems might be, cupboard space is
always needed. Their contents combine
to effectually form the memory of the
office. Ahrend drawer pedestals, sliding
door cabinets, hinged door cabinets and
tambour door cabinets fit in with any
configuration you can think of; the art
involved in the design of Ahrend storage
equates to easy retrieval: a memory that
never lets you down.

The space-saving sliding door cabinets have a modular structure.
Base and top cabinets in 80, 100, 120 and 160 cm wide versions
form the components that make up any configuration you
could wish for. Also available with acoustic enhancements,
guaranteeing a quiet office environment.
The most widely used method of storage. Available in many
dimensions and with multifunctional options offered by a
myriad of storage accessories: from shelves to pull-out frames.
A particularly fine feature is the optional transparent, metal
and perforated acoustic vertical slats.
Communal storage.
Our range of sliding door cabinets
incorporate two overlapping doors on
smooth runners, fitted with the interchangeable Ahrend cylinder lock system.
Ahrend sliding door cabinets are stackable,
allowing your storage space to grow with
your business.
Choice of various colours and tops.
Ahrend quality is not only visible, it can
also be felt, exemplified by the highly
stable and safe drawer guides.
The tambour door can also be an eyecatcher in an otherwise plain office
environment, thanks to its different
colours in semi-transparent or opaque
plastic or steel, with or without perforation.
Made for intensive use with an eye for
detail. When open, the tambour doors
disappear completely into the cabinet.
The average support carries loads of 15
kilos. No problem at all for the metal
shelves with their flexibility of positioning
(max. load of 39 to 53 kg).
Wall unit becomes
partition.
The cabinets’ main attribute is flexibility;
they can easily transform from a wall
unit to a partition, adding a degree of
privacy for the user. The Ahrend cabinets
are a stylish element in flexible furnishing:
when you change the configuration, the
available surface area is always used to
the full and neatly arranged.
The design, colours and materials give
the Ahrend cabinets more body and are
aesthetically pleasing. Not only that,
acoustic versions make for a quiet working
environment; as do cabinets with an
upholstered back panel.
Filing cabinets
Ideally suited for storing A4, folio and foolscap suspension files.
The cabinets can be locked to ensure that your confidential
information is stored safely. Just as all the other Ahrend cabinets,
the dimensions, colours and tops of our filing cabinets match
all the other Ahrend furniture perfectly.
Hinged door cabinets
Being environmentally aware, Ahrend has deliberately chosen
to use steel: solid, recyclable and sustainable. This also applies
to our hinged door cabinets with their ‘hidden’ hinges. Stylish,
strong and indestructible cabinets (100 cm wide and 45 cm
deep in heights of 140 and 195 cm) that fit in with whatever
configuration you choose.

Safe and accessible at the same time.
When the sliding lid is open, stored
documents are permanently accessible.
Secured in no time. The cabinets have
locks that lock all the drawers and a foldaway key that helps to minimise the risk
of injuries.
Handles are stylishly hidden away in
the upper edge of the drawer and are
therefore never in the way.
Storage can be simultaneously practical
and attractive; attention to detail is
demonstrated by the ‘hidden’ hinges in
the hinged door cabinets.
Logical and ergonomic, a handle you
cannot see but which is there nonetheless,
along the entire height of the door.
Flex-work
Flex-workers get the freedom of movement they
need to be able to function effectively. Their
personal archive is close at hand in a trolley or
mobile drawer pedestal at every work or meeting
space. The push bars of the trolleys can also be used
as clothes hangers, and the optionally available
cushions turn the trolleys into mobile seats; details
that are characteristic of Ahrend’s innovative designs.

To prevent the cabinet tipping over when
the drawer is opened, the pedestals have
counterweights and a drawer lock. The
drawer lock prevents more than one
drawer from being opened at once.

Ahrend’s trolleys, stationary desk-high
drawer pedestals and mobile drawer
pedestals for personal storage make the
office mobile. Mobility is linked to
made-to-measure furniture: always the
right version, always the right drawer
layout (various size configurations are
used; A4, A6, A7 and a stationery drawer),
always the right amount of filing and
storage space. Work processes are speeded
up and full use is made of precious square
metres in the office.
Since digital information is increasingly
common, space for personal storage can
be reduced to what is strictly necessary.
Ahrend’s wide and narrow drawer
pedestals (42.5 cm and 31.5 cm wide) and
extra narrow lateral pedestals (21.5 cm
wide) provide space-saving made-to
measure furniture.
The Four_Two mobile drawer pedestal which is available from stock has a standard RAL 9006 paint colour and a
stabilising castor under the A4 drawer to prevent it from tipping over. Finished with a steel top and steel fronts.
Dimensions: 31x54x56cm. The telescopic drawers are fitted with a stationery drawer, A4 and A6 drawers.
The stationery drawers have a single
drawer guide and plastic sections for
arranging writing materials and small
items of office equipment.

The personal

The fashion for minimalist prints alone is over. Ahrend
tops are also available in adventurous prints.
Mobility in optima forma. The non-slip studs in the
Ciranol top keep everything in its place even when
moving this mobile drawer pedestal around.
Flex-work requires mobile storage. Large castors and
the retractable pull/push handle mean that drawer
pedestals are easy to reposition.
The cabinets can be adapted to meet your personal requirements, with pull-out frames that have two U-channels for 3 rows of suspension files,
pull-out drawers, shelves, hanging shelves and sections..
Ahrend cabinets are available in different colours and,
optionally, with a special printed design. For a creative
and lively work environment.
Pull up a chair? These trolleys are made for this. Easy to
move around and with an optional, comfortable, textile
cushion.
Handy and close to hand. The drawers can be arranged
by means of drawer dividers to suit each user’s needs.
The tops of the low cabinets can also be used as worktops. That is why their size is left entirely up to you.
The drawers have plastic (42.5 cm wide) or steel drawer fronts (42.5, 31.5 or 21.5 cm).
