Hooray for Volunteers! I Need Help! I would love to have volunteers throughout the school year. Here are some ways you can help:      Center Help: Come in once a week and work with a small group of children during center time. Room Parent: Contact parents and plan with me for our special events and celebrations. Sight Word Assistant: Come in once a week to work 1-on-1 as students learn our sight word lists. Record their success! Reading Tutor: Come in to work 1-on-1 with a child who needs additional help. Book Room Clerk: Come in and re-file our reading group books in the Book Room. This is a critical need. I will look over the parent volunteer sign-up sheet and any notes that I get after that to schedule parents. Please know I will not be able to talk with parent volunteers during class. My #1 focus is my students. They are what I am here for. If there is a concern, please leave a note to meet with me after school.
