Orientation Programme for Parents of Pre School DAV Public School, Dwarka organised an orientation programme for the parents of Pre Schoolers on 19th March 2015. The programme started off with chanting of the holy Gayatri Mantra by the school choir. The Pre School Incharge welcomed all the parents. Principal Ms Monika Mehan addressed the parents and discussed with them the importance of discipline and punctuality. Thereafter, the parents received guidelines from the Incharge regarding the new session. A handbook of information, timetable for the upcoming session and a copy of recently launched newsletter were also given to parents for reference. The teachers of Kindergarten wing gave a panoramic view of the teaching and learning styles followed at the school. They introduced topics such as Emotional Quotient, Value based Education, Importance of Health and Hygiene, Drama in Education-Puppet Shows, and Technology in Classrooms. Parents were amazed at the use of puppets in everyday teaching It was followed by a session on Parenting Tips by the school counsellor. A photo shoot for I cards followed.
