ANNUAL REPORT 2014 Building Up Our Communities - And Our World deaconcharitablefoundation.com TO OUR FRIENDS letter from our president The Deacon Charitable Foundation was founded to support the communities where we live, work and play. We fund organizations that address vital community needs in areas chosen through our bi-annual survey of all employees: human services, animal welfare and the environment. Our four all-volunteer Giving Committees guide our grantmaking decisions, in accordance with these employee preferences. I am very proud of the commitment our employees demonstrate by their participation in our employee matching grant program, participation in community service events and just their overall caring about helping others. Thank you to our clients, subcontractors and friends for your part in making our charitable giving possible. And thank you to our employees for embracing our corporate mission to “support our communities”.
