Instructions to field from Meeting Location Chino Valley Safeway Parking lot 1031 Arizona 89, Chino Valley, AZ 86323 11:00AM Depart ~11:35 Fob coordinates 35.0255296019, -112.389478308 To Players: "When you arrive at location, there will be a Safety and Event Intro Briefing before anything else, do not worry about gearing up, you will be given time for that after the briefing." Directions from Safeway Drive North on HWY 89 approximately 20 miles. Pass the Drake Cement Plant. Pass the wide area in the road that allows for the turn off for Drake Road. Within a mile after passing this wide area in the road, you will drive over a Rail Road overpass bridge. Less than 1/2 Mile from the end of that overpass you will turn right, off of the main road onto a dirt pull-off marked with orange flagging tape. There will be a Barbed Wire fence with an Gate. The gate will be unlocked, Once the last car is through the gate Someone needs to close the gate. This Gate is to remain closed whenever a vehicle is not passing through it. (DDMS MEMBERS CONTACT DELTA 11 ON DDMS CHANNEL 2 if radio contact has not already been made.) After passing through the gate, follow the dirt road as it winds back into the trees, do not turn off of the dirt road until it T's onto Old 89. At the T, turn left and follow Old 89 all the way to the field. You will pass through an opening in a barbwire fence marked on either side with pink flags, Look for someone in Construction Orange to direct you where to park. NOTE: From the gate at the turn off of HWY 89 all the way to the field, there are orange flagging ribbons tied to trees and signs every so often to help you know you are going the right way.
