this all day Friday – do not pack in suitcase)
-Breakfast items for Friday Morning on bus
-Portable DVD player/Kindle or Nook/handheld
gaming device etc. for bus with headphones
-Sunglasses and Sunscreen (spf 15 or better)
-Bright Green Trip T-shirt (you’ll wear this all day Saturday)
-PJs and clean undergarments
-Shorts and jeans with deep pockets to hold phones/money/etc.
-Socks & comfortable closed-toed shoes/sneakers
-At least $80 for food, plus any extra spending money
-Ziplock bag for your phone/camera on water rides
-Gum or mints
-Hairbrush or comb (hair ties, barrettes, bobby pins etc. as necessary)
- DEODORANT and Toothbrush and Toothpaste! (the hotel provides
shampoo/soap/conditioner/lotion)
-Medications (as cleared on medical forms)
-Snack and Bottled (plastic) water for workshop day and bus ride
home (bottles can be refilled throughout the day)

Trip Rules and Guidelines
**ALL SCHOOL & DISTRICT RULES WILL BE OBSERVED ON THIS TRIP!!!**
Chaperones
-We will have 38 adults on this trip including Mr. Barthel, Ms. Karl, Ms. Wolk (Marangellisantos) and Mr. Scarbrough
-Each student will be assigned a chaperoned group for the trip. You MUST remain with that group, NO EXCEPTIONS.
-All chaperones are cleared by the district to be with our students on an overnight trip.
General Expectations
-Respect others and act with courtesy at all times.
-Rules are in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy the trip they paid for.
-When in doubt if something is ok ask your chaperone or your teacher!
Bus Expectations
-Seating will go: chaperones first and then students
-If at any point you misbehave, you will be reassigned in your seat away from other students.
-Don’t use a product or spray with a strong smell, it could cause allergic reaction in such a confined space.
-Keep our buses clean!
-Any phones/MP3/DVD/handheld game players must be used with headphones
Park Expectations
-Follow all meeting times and check-in times.
-You must wear your choir shirt on Friday and your trip shirt on Saturday – NO EXCEPTIONS
-Never go anywhere by yourself and when in doubt, call or check in with your chaperone or teacher!
-You must stay with your assigned chaperone group at all times. Groups are allowed to travel together and can mingle on
rides and within “worlds”, but students must remain with their assigned chaperone group.
Hotel Expectations
-You are allowed to go in your room only.
-You are not to get in the pool unless a chaperone is present.
-Do not make calls from your hotel room phone unless it is to your chaperone with a problem/question.
-We will not be the only people in the hotel, keep your noise down so others can enjoy their stay.
-Do not leave your hotel room past curfew (call your chaperone if you have a problem).
Serious Infractions
-The following violations will result in the student being sent home at your parent’s expense:
-Any broken law: possession or use of drugs alcohol or tobacco. Theft, vandalism, etc.
-Park Violations: leaving the park bounds during any time without your chaperone.
-Other violations will result in the student staying by a chaperone’s side for the trip:
-Hotel violations: leaving your room after curfew, going in anyone else’s hotel room
-Being late to a trip meeting time, the hotel calling about poor behavior, unsafe behavior, rudeness to a chaperone,
etc.
-Leaving your pre-assigned chaperone group at any time. You must stay with YOUR group.
