insight4
The Brief:
“I am wondering if you would quote to do a
re-fresh of a logo for insight 4.
I’m rebranding it with a focus on leadership,
mindfulness and coaching with the strap line
‘creating the space to lead’. I want to keep
the colours the same...turquoise and green
but maybe we could refreshen up the logo?
Hopefully it won’t be too complex. The word
insight is fine just as it is and the colours
are fine. I was thinking of something that
captured the outline of a mountain peak..or
two peaks.
The word insight4 could sit below it on the
right hand side of the image.
What do you think cost wise?
Same colours, same font for the text.
The image needs to be a rectangular shape
rather than square... So the look I’m aiming
for is long and lean if that makes sense.
I also like the idea of having some
translucency to the colours in the image”.

Module 4 - Supply Chain
A food supply chain refers to the systems and
processes that describe the journey of food from the
farm to the table.
Supply chain management focuses on the
movement of goods and the flow of information from
one point in the supply chain to another, with the
aim of meeting the demand requirements of the end
customer. This equates to getting the right product
to the right place at the right time and in the right
quantities.
The food supply chain includes:
“I commissioned Kate, following
a recommendation from a senior
Marketing colleague, and was
not disappointed. The speed with
which Kate grasped the clients
brief and cultural nuances was
amazing, as was the subsequent
translation of the brief into high
quality and relevant images.
Kate was both flexible and hard
working ensuring that the required
product was delivered in a very
tight turn-around. Proofing and
edits were also extremely quick
ensuring that the client received
a high quality and tailored product
in line with their new branding
and image.”

The supply chain has a knock on effect as each
step of the chain requires human/natural resources
and if one part of the chain breaks down, it affects
the whole of the supply chain. The breakdown of
a supply chain is often revealed through increases
in the price of a product(s), lack of availability or a
product recall.
Many companies have global supply chains and
contaminated products at all stages of these food
chains have become a matter of grave concern.
The supply chains for both the food and beverage
industries have come under close scrutiny after wellpublicised outbreaks of food-borne illnesses and, the
recall of food products.
