Design for Asia Awards 2015 - Checklist for Materials Arrangement MATERIALS REQUIREMENT FOR ENTRIES (FOR 18 CATEGORIES) Material Definition Requirement Actual Produced product in (i) At least one piece of actual product. Product 2-dimension, 3(ii) For Product and Industrial design, the submitted entry must be dimension and completely assembled and fully functioned. Any electrical other media etc. products must provide transformer and adaptor to match Hong Kong electrical voltage: 220 volts AC, 50HZ. (iii) For other media from internet, the interactive / digital media and mobile applications submitted should allow to be downloaded from the web platform for trial run (free of charge) by HKDC. (iv) For Environmental design, maximum ten (10) images can be uploaded to the online submission system. Oversize Product Dimension over 1m x 1m x 1m Supporting Relevant materials Materials that demonstrate (Optional) and elaborate the actual product (v) Contact Design for Asia Awards Secretariat before arranging delivery. All materials (except supporting materials) must be in English. 2. Entry label (can be downloaded from the online submission system upon payment settled) must be fixed on the top right-hand corner of the packaging of each submitted item (including supporting materials). HKDC shall NOT receive any submitted items with improper labeling. 3. The Entrant shall be responsible for all costs (including but not limited to all packaging costs, transport costs, documentation, postal charges, courier charges, insurance costs, governmental/jurisdictional approvals and licenses and any other costs necessary or likely) of passing and transporting of the Entrant's Design into the possession of HKDC and the return of the Entrant's Design upon the Entrant's request. 4. HKDC shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of the submitted entries due to delivery issue. 5. Posters, display boards, CD-Roms, perishables and beverage items are not returnable. 6. Late submission shall NOT be allowed, while the entry fee will NOT be refunded.
