Objective, Outcomes and Outputs Over all development goal : To enable citizens to make informed choices, active participation and contribution in democratic practices. Project Objective : To empower tribal and rural women, youth and students with democratic principles by increasing their knowledge on citizen rights, providing exposure to tools to perform democratic responsibilities, action and practices alongside initiatives for community outreach on the Right to Information Act and Micro justice services. Outcomes 1. Develop the capacities of women, youth and students on democratic practices and tools, ensuring their practice and participation in democratic processes. 2. Democracy initiatives through dialogue meetings with local authorities and elected representatives, alongside facilitating increased awareness of the Right to information Act and Paralegal support. Output for Outcome 1 1.1. 500 training sessions on democracy and democratic processes for 7500 members of 500 women SHGs (Q 1 – 4) 1.2. 100 Training Sessions on tools for democracy for 1000 youth (Q1 – 4) 1.3. Two student Education Programme on ethical democracy for 1000 students including 50 “practicums” (Q1 – 4) 1.4. Training of 25 select Elected Representatives and government officials on the content of ethical democracy (Q1 – 4) Output for Outcome 2 2.1. 5 Youth Associations established and democracy action exercises completed under mentorship (Q5‐8) 2.2. Information outreach campaign (175 events) on the Right to Information Act & its usage to reach 50000 people (Q5‐8) 2.3. 10 dialogue meetings between SHGs / Youth association and local authority and elected representatives (2 meetings in each target area) (Q5‐8) 2.4. 50 Para legal training for 250 para legal volunteers, 50 para legal clinic established and atleast 500 cases handled (Q5‐8) 2.5. Production and dissemination of the final Project report (Q7‐8)
