Submission of application form to a candidate does not automatically ensure his eligibility for admission into the course. 2. Candidates engaged in any other course of studies /job/Full –time research work, shall not be pursuing this course simultaneously. 3. Fresh candidates must verify eligibility as age limit, availability of method subjects. 4. Both fresher and deputed candidates must have minimum 50% marks either in Bachelor’s Degree or in Master’s Degree.( Relaxation will be followed as per as West Bengal Government rules) . 5. The deputed candidates should be the teachers of approved Govt. /Govt. Aided /Govt. Sponsored secondary or higher secondary schools, Teaching from class IX onwards (Hons/PG Scales only). 6. Maximum age limit for fresher candidates should be 37 years as on 30.06.15. (Relaxation of age will be given as per Govt. of West Bengal norms). 7. Minimum qualification is Graduate in Arts/Social Science/Science/Music. Available method subjects are Bengali, English, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Life Science (Botany/Zoology/Physiology), Physical Science (Physics/Chemistry), Mathematics and Music. 8. Total number of seats is 50(fifty) of which Twenty Five seats are reserved for fresher candidates and twenty five seats are reserved for deputed candidates. 9. As per the Order no. 330-Edn.(CS)/ES/EE/10M-16/15 dated 06.04.2015 the Ratio for Home University and other University students should be 80:20. 10. Reservation of seats against the total number of seats will be followed as per Govt. of West Bengal norms. 11. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of academic score obtained by the candidates. In this case Assessment Proforma made by the Calcutta University will be followed. 12. Admission process will be done according to the merit list followed by Interview. After publication of merit list the fee(s) to be submitted along with the filled-in hard copy of application and photocopies of related testimonials. 5.
