All work and materials shall comply with the City of Naples Utilities Standards, Specifications, and
Details; The Project’s Drawings, Details, and Notes.
The City has obtained the Collier County ROW Permit for this project and has an approved MOT Plan.
The Contractor shall provide all approved MOT signage and Traffic Safety procedures during the work.

SCOPE OF WORK:
ITEM 1: DALE AVENUE & OUTER DRIVE: 6” WATER MAIN INSTALLATION, PER DRAWINGS AND

DESCRIPTION:
This item shall include the following:
1. The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, labor, dewatering, and equipment to
complete the specified work.
2. Directional Drill 6” HDPE DR11 pipe under Outer Drive as shown on plans. Fuse MJ adaptor
to HDPE Pipe. Include Tracer Wire with pull.
3. Install 6” S.S. Tapping Saddle w/valve on AC water main. Provide thrust block to stabilize
tap. City to witness pressure test and coordinate tap.
4. Connect HDPE Pipe with fittings & PVC Pipe to valve. Include valve box, concrete pad, and ID
Tag.
5. Remove/Replace sidewalk panels as required for proper excavation.
6. Use Excavate-able Flow-able fill over pipe where adequate pipe coverage is not
accomplished.
7. On Dale Avenue side; use fused MJ adaptor on HDPE Pipe; transition and extend line with
restraint fittings and 6” C900 PVC DR14 Pipe; install flush discharge; full bore flush; cap;
pressure test; disinfect line, flush; 2 day compliance tests by City.
8. Coordinate with City for existing line shutdown; install 6” MJ cap w/restraint & 2” Threaded
Port; Brass and Poly fittings and pipe to transition to existing 2” galvanized water main.
9. Restore all to original condition.
ITEM 2: CINDY AVENUE & OUTER DRIVE: 6” WATER MAIN INSTALLATION, PER DRAWINGS AND

This item shall include the following:
1. The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, labor, dewatering, and equipment to

This item shall include the following:
1. The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, labor, dewatering, and equipment to
complete the specified work.
2. Install 6” S.S. Tapping Saddle w/valve on AC water main. Provide thrust block to stabilize
tap. City to witness pressure test and coordinate tap.
3. Connect PVC Pipe, fittings, Fire Hydrant (Yellow per EN Fire). Include valve box, concrete
pad, and ID Tag. Provide thrust block and break-away pad per details.
4. Restore all to original condition.
ITEM 4: CINDY AVENUE: 6”X2” TAPPING SADDLE, 2” CORP VALVE, REDUCER/
-
CONNECTOR/POLY & ADAPTOR TO EXISTING SERVICE LINE, PER DRAWINGS AND
DESCRIPTION.(For existing water service at 4214/4518) :
This item shall include the following:
1. The Contractor shall provide all materials, supplies, labor, dewatering, and equipment to
complete the specified work.
2. Install 6”X2” Tapping Saddle, 2” Corp valve, reducer, poly tube, and transition fitting to
existing service line. (Currant service line is connected to existing 6” cap).
3. Restore all to original condition.
