OPENING The meeting was opened by the Chair at 1830 hours, with a welcome extended to attendees. 2. RATIFICATION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES WASE 0001 The minutes of the last State Executive meeting, held 22 January 2014, were a true and accurate record of the meeting. Moved L. Sperring, seconded David Moir. CARRIED 3. CORRESPONDENCE CAMS State E-Newsletter (February) CAMS Speed Read (February) For latest minutes since previous State Executive meeting, please refer to CAMS website. 4. BUSINESS ARISING WASE 0002 SuperGT Regulations Relating to item 8.3 of previous minutes. An agreement was reached that nonSuperGT vehicles would be permitted to enter the series under Street Cars. However, as at 17 March, the issue is ongoing and N. Rahimtulla (chairman) will take the issue up again with WASCC on Thursday 19 March. 6. GENERAL BUSINESS WASE 0003 Affiliations Fiona reported that 52 clubs have re-affiliated, with responses being awaited for 3 clubs and 1 club not renewing for 2015 (club has disbanded). A number of strategies for encouraging early re-affiliations were discussed, to be presented to Ben Pretty for consideration. WASE 0004 CAMS Standing Orders - Regularity CAMS WA are awaiting on approval of these orders by CAMS Technical Department. AGENDA ITEMS WASE 0005 WASE 0006 Formula Ford and Formula Vee regulations Minor changes were made to these regulations since their approval at the last State Council meeting. The changes have been reviewed and approved by State Executive, for ratification by State Council at their next meeting. CARRIED Motorkhana regulations The regulations have been reviewed and approved by State Executive, for ratification by State Council at their next meeting. CARRIED WASE 0007 RAC track This is a work in progress. Nick Rahimtulla (chairman) is working to get the track approved and an agreement with CAMS completed. WASE 0008 State Officiating Panel The State Executive agreed that they are in favour of the continuance of the State Officiating Panel. This will be reported to the Australian Officials Commission by WA Commissioner Tracey Rowley. The need for a Scrutineer on the SOP was discussed and it was agreed the need was there, to be addressed at the next State Council meeting. 8.
