The Standard model comes with the Nagahara Scale, the Nagahara
Pinless mechanism, the special thumb key design and the standard
dimensions used by flute makers worldwide.
The Full Concert model feature an enlarged bore and toneholes
size, elongated headjoint for greater taper, and the “Nagahara FC
System” scale all designed by Kanichi Nagahara. It is a
revolutionary design offered exclusively by Nagahara Flutes
enabling improvements in tone, resonance, dynamic range, and
intonation control. This model also features the Nagahara Pinless
mechanism and thumb key design.
Just like the Maestro’s instrument, the Galway model flute includes
the following features: a Galway model headjoint, No Gizmo
Key(added upon request), Nagahara Pinless mechanism, and the
Wearless Mechanism (Type II). A special key design was also
created for this model, enhancing finger grip over the key-cups
and adding an extra touch of elegance.

CUSTOM HANDMADE HEADJOINTS
Custom headjoint prices can be calculated by adding the cost of tube + lipplate + riser + riser style. The tubing cost includes a Light base
edition locking crown & cork assembly. Crown upgrades are at an additional cost. All Nagahara headjoints are hand made exclusively by
Kanichi Nagahara.

time of ordering, and for instruments with gold mechanism at the time of production start (USA customers only).
Orders for instruments are accepted without a deposit. A non-refundable 50% down payment is required before production begins, and the final
payment is due prior to Delivery of the instrument. Shipping for direct orders only available within the continental USA, and to territories with
no established authorized dealers in place. Customers abroad are responsible for all shipping cost including applicable duties and taxes.
