ArcGIS for Desktop (and Pro) Product Life Cycle Support Status
The Product Life Cycle Support Policy is designed to help communicate to Esri users the technical support resources available during a
product's life span and to provide advanced notification of planned changes to available support options. Read more about this in our Product
Life Cycle Support Policy.
NOTE: General Availability Phase starts when the Product is released and ends on the last day of the month shown in the table.
Extended and Mature Life Cycle phases start on the first day of the month and ends on the last day of the month. The product

ArcGIS Pro Product Release Cycle Status
ArcGIS Pro is a new App that is part of Desktop with a different release cadence. It therefore has a different lifecycle compared to the rest of
ArcGIS for Desktop.
NOTE: General Availability Phase starts when the Product is released and ends on the last day of the month shown

ArcGIS for Desktop extensions, ArcGIS Engine and extensions carry the same Product Life Cycle as the main ArcGIS for Desktop product.
ArcGIS Pro is a part of Desktop but due to its frequent releases, it will have its own lifecycle which will be separate from the life cycle of
ArcGIS for Desktop.
All service packs, patches, and hot fixes available for a particular version have the same support status as the version they address.
Dates listed in a support column provide the date on which the product entered that support level.
