It therefore has a different lifecycle compared to the rest of ArcGIS for Desktop. ArcGIS Pro is a part of Desktop but due to its frequent releases, it will have its own lifecycle which will be separate from the life cycle of ArcGIS for Desktop. All service packs, patches, and hot fixes available for a particular version have the same support status as the version they address.
