The two students Kartikeya Tewari & Dewansh Kaloni -X have cleared the first level NTSE

In the 2nd and the final stage of NTSE (2013-14), Tuneer Chakraborty of Class XI has been selected for
the scholarship.
In the National level Bal Shree conducted by National Bal Bhavan Delhi two students Shubhangi Goel
for Creative performance & Bivas Nag for Creative Scientific Innovations have been selected for “Bal
Shree Award” and will be honoured by his Excellency, the President of India very soon.
Saptarishi Majumdar of Class XII has been selected in Stanford University, U.S.A. for an undergraduate
course in Engineering.
In the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) two students Arnesh Mishra & Prashant Pundeer
of Class XII of DPS Vidyutnagar have cleared the aptitude test. Arnesh Mishra of Class XII has been
selected for KVPY Scholarship.
In the IGNITE Competition conducted by National Innovation Foundation—India Deptt. of Science &
Technology, Govt. of India, the model of Emergency Ambulance Provider made by Neetigya Chahar of
Class IX has been accepted.
DPS Vidyutnagar is licensed to operate the International Award for Young People as a Youth Engaging
Society Centre in India.
In the second round of SMTE (Science Maths Talent Examination) held on Dec. 14, 2014 at DPS Noida, two
students of Class IX qualified the round. Utkarsh Aggarwal secured DPS Rank 21 and Aviral Agarwal secured DPS
Rank 48.
The school participated in a working model competition conducted by NTPC Dadri on the theme ‘Renewable
Source of Energy’ for the benefit of mankind’ on Nov. 8, 2014. The school won the First Position in the Project:
Speed Breaker Energy Generator’ presented by students of Class X. It was found to be so efficient that the Chief
Guest Mr. D.K. Sood-ED NTPC Dadri has expressed his desire to implement it in the township.
The 2nd Prize went to the Project on ‘Generating Electricity using House Hold Waste’ presented by students of
class X and the consolation prize was given to the project on ‘Producing Electricity using Bleaching Powder and
Water’ presented by students of Class X.

In the Inter DPS National Multisport Meet Girls (Open Category) held at DPS Greater Noida from Dec. 27 to Dec.
29, 2014. Himani Shishodia from Class VIII won a Silver Medal in 800 Mtr. Race and a Bronze Medal in 400 Mtr
Race.
JBM Global School, Noida organized Inter School Sports Carnival. Students participated in the Athletic events
held on Nov. 29, 2014. The school won Gold Medal in Shot put & Discus throw (U-19 level) and 100 Mtr. Race
(U-16 level). The school also won a Bronze Medal in Long Jump (U-16 level).
In the Inter DPS National Multi Sports Meet for Boys held at DPS Meerut from Dec. 27 to 29, 2014, Akash
Kumar from Class XI B bagged the Gold Medal in discus throw and Silver Medal in shotput.
The School commences for the session 2015-16 from April 13, 2015.
The school will follow the Summer Uniform and Summer Timings from April 13, 2015 i.e.:
 Class Nursery & Class Prep:
7.40 a.m. to 12.00 noon
 Class I to Class XII:
7.40 a.m. to 1.00 p.m..

The reporting time for students in the morning is 7.30 a.m. to 7.40 a.m. The gates will be closed at 7.40
a.m. There will be no entry of students before 7.30 a.m. and after 7.40 a.m.
 The students have to come in proper Summer Uniform from April 13, 2015 on all working days /
examination days/PTMs/any other school event. No child would be allowed to enter the school premises if
not in school uniform.
 The parents are requested to drop their ward at the school gate. No parent would be allowed to come to the
academic block alongwith their ward.
 To maintain the dignity of an educational institution, the parents are requested to come to school formally
dressed. Casual T-shirts, shorts, Bermudas, Track pants, Sandals, Slippers would not be appreciated.
 As the fee revision is in process for the session 2015-16, the parent are requested to deposit the fee as per
the old fee structure.
In the session 2015-16 our focus on discipline and punctuality will continue. Hence we would request the parents to
ensure that:
 Students reach school on time and in proper school uniform.
 Bringing Mobile phones or any other electronics gadget to school is strictly prohibited. The gadget would be
confiscated and destroyed. Strict action would be taken against the child.
 No leave is to be availed without prior permission.
 Any act of indiscipline or unwarranted behaviour will be taken seriously and handled according to the rules of the
school.
In short we solicit a strong and spirited support to the school involving holistic involvement of all the stakeholders viz the
School, the parents and the students.
There is always some parental anxiety and concern associated with sending a child to a new school, with a new
environment. You will be pleased to know that I will be available to meet you on all working days (i.e. Monday to Friday)

competitive event or if you have any important engagement where the child has to accompany

5. Do not permit the child to stay at home on working days. Absenteeism without any valid reason is to be

6. Any act of indiscipline by the child will be liable for strict action. A Red Card would be issued to
the child for indiscipline. Three red cards will lead to the issue of a Yellow Card. Issue of three
Yellow Cards will lead to expulsion of the offender from the school on disciplinary grounds.
7. The promotion policy of the school for all classes is given in detail in the school almanac.
8. The PTM for the month of April will be on 30.04.2015 from 1.00 p.m.. to 2.45 p.m.
9. Parents can meet the teachers on all working days (Monday to Friday) from 2.15 p.m. to 3.00 p.m.
apart from PTMs.
10. Please ensure that the child comes in proper school uniform as given in the school almanac. The
student will not be allowed entry in the school premises if the child is not in the school uniform. House
uniform for classes I to XII to be worn on Tuesday & Thursday.
11. Hair are to be properly trimmed for boys. If girls have long hair, they have to be neatly plated. In case

In the IGNITE Competition conducted by National Innovation Foundation—India Deptt. of Science &
Technology, Govt. of India, the model of Emergency Ambulance Provider made by Neetigya Chahar of
Class IX has been accepted.
DPS Vidyutnagar is licensed to operate the International Award for Young People as a Youth Engaging
Society Centre in India.
In the second round of SMTE (Science Maths Talent Examination) held on Dec. 14, 2014 at DPS Noida, two
students of Class IX qualified the round. Utkarsh Aggarwal secured DPS Rank 21 and Aviral Agarwal secured DPS
Rank 48.
The school participated in a working model competition conducted by NTPC Dadri on the theme ‘Renewable
Source of Energy’ for the benefit of mankind’ on Nov. 8, 2014. The school won the First Position in the Project:
Speed Breaker Energy Generator’ presented by students of Class X. It was found to be so efficient that the Chief
Guest Mr. D.K. Sood-ED NTPC Dadri has expressed his desire to implement it in the township.
The 2nd Prize went to the Project on ‘Generating Electricity using House Hold Waste’ presented by students of
class X and the consolation prize was given to the project on ‘Producing Electricity using Bleaching Powder and
Water’ presented by students of Class X.

In the Inter DPS National Multisport Meet Girls (Open Category) held at DPS Greater Noida from Dec. 27 to Dec.
29, 2014. Himani Shishodia from Class VIII won a Silver Medal in 800 Mtr. Race and a Bronze Medal in 400 Mtr
Race.
JBM Global School, Noida organized Inter School Sports Carnival. Students participated in the Athletic events
held on Nov. 29, 2014. The school won Gold Medal in Shot put & Discus throw (U-19 level) and 100 Mtr. Race
(U-16 level). The school also won a Bronze Medal in Long Jump (U-16 level).
In the Inter DPS National Multi Sports Meet for Boys held at DPS Meerut from Dec. 27 to 29, 2014, Akash
Kumar from Class XI B bagged the Gold Medal in discus throw and Silver Medal in shotput.
The School commences for the session 2015-16 from April 13, 2015.

 As the fee revision is in process for the session 2015-16, the parent are requested to deposit the fee as per
the old fee structure.
In the session 2015-16 our focus on discipline and punctuality will continue. Hence we would request the parents to
ensure that:
 Students reach school on time and in proper school uniform.
 Bringing Mobile phones or any other electronics gadget to school is strictly prohibited. The gadget would be
