SOCCER SKILLS CAMP
Join former Chico Rooks Soccer Player Joel Hurd for this
FUNdamental soccer camp. Participants will be given the
opportunity to develop specific soccer skills through a variety of fun soccer related games, while building self esteem
through positive reinforcement and encouragement.
Camp is open to boys and girls ages 4-8.

VOLLEYBALL SKILLS CAMP
The DRPD Volleyball Skills Camp is designed to focus
on fundamentals, with the goal that participants gain
improved volleyball skills, and become excited about
volleyball.
Camp is open to boys and girls going into grades 5-8
Cost: $75 (Ball and T-shirt included)
Sessions will take place at a variety of Volleyball locations,
including Durham Intermediate Gym, outdoor grass and outdoor sand.

SWIM LESSON LEVEL DESCRIPTIONS:
Parent/Tot(Tadpole)
To develop in young
children (6-36 months),
a high comfort level in
and around water. A
parent or adult is
required to be in the
water with the child.
Pre K-(Frog)
To develop in young
children, ages 3 & 4, a
high comfort level in and
around water. This
level will focus on front
floats, back floats and
glides. Pre-K levels may
be combined.
Level 1- (Guppy)
Recommended Age
4-5, and comfort with
head and face in water.
This level will introduce
fully submerged head
and body, floating on
front and back with kick,
alternating arm action
and safety rules, with
little help from

HUNTER SAFETY
This class is a guide to hunting responsibly and safely. Become certified and
learn the ten commandments of firearm safety, basic shooting skills and more.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
The DRPD ASP offers safe and reliable after school care from the time your
child gets out of school, until the time they are picked up.
The program provides young people a fun environment and the opportunity to
engage in age-appropriate activities with their peers.
Daily options include: Homework assistance and academic support, arts and
crafts projects, outdoor recreational activities, as well as weekly special events.
The program is open to children in grades K-7
Location: After School Program Clubhouses (Rooms 70 and 71)

CUBBIE CARE PROGRAM
The Cubbie Care program is an early childhood program that combines
learning opportunities with play. Daily sessions will emphasize individual learning and development. Participants will be introduced to letters
of the alphabet, shape and number recognition, as well as science and
discovery, phonics, art and crafts, outdoor play, story time, field trips,
and more.
The program is open to children ages 3-5 years old.

98th Annual MAY DAY PARADE & PICNIC
Enjoy this community tradition by watching the parade move down the Midway, and join in the festivities at the Durham Community Park.
Parade check-in in starts at 9:00 at DHS, with the Parade scheduled to start at
10:00. Picnic festivities will begin immediately following the parade.
There will be a silent auction, karaoke, sack races, horse shoe tournament, and
more. ALL AGES WELCOME!

*It is that easy! Once you have registered and paid for the class, a
copy of your registration and a receipt will be handed to you*
WITHDRAWING FROM A PROGRAM:
Any participant who chooses to withdraw from a program after the sign
up deadline will not receive a full refund, unless there is a special
documented circumstance or a refund has been board approved.
CANCELLATION OF PROGRAM:
In the event DRPD needs to cancel a class or program due to low
enrollment, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen circumstance,
you will receive a full refund of the registration fee. Requests for refunds
or transfers may be made in person, by email or by phone. Your receipt,
cancelled check or proof of identification may be required. Refund
checks will be processed within fifteen (15) business days.
This policy only applies to recreational programs. Other policies
exist specifically for the reservations of facilities, park rentals and
pool admission.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY:
All participants must fill out a registration form, pay program fee,
sign and date waiver before they participating in a program. If it is
found these steps have not been completed, the participant may

be dropped from the program.

HOW TO RESERVE ONE OF OUR FACILITIES
1.) Call the Recreation Office between the hours of 8am & 5pm MondayFriday with your request.
2.) If your request is available, a reservation contract will be filled out, by the
Recreation District staff, with your contact and event information.
3.) Contract needs to be signed by person responsible for the event.
(Contract can be signed and mailed, or signed in District Office.)
4.) Deposit fees are due within 10 days of making the reservation.
Balance of the total fee is due 30 days prior to event date.
5.) Once contract, fees and additional paperwork are complete your reservation
will be complete and your area will be marked the morning of your event.
