This course gives you the Nationally Recognised Qualification, provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in guiding outdoor recreation activities in a controlled environment. It requires technical knowledge of the outdoor recreation activity to be transferred to allow individuals to safely participate in the outdoor activity. Course Length: 9 months (38 weeks, made up of 30 weeks tuition, and 8 weeks holiday). Students may commence study with induction on any Monday as approved by the Director, and general classes operate all weeks except holiday periods (see Term and Holiday sheet). Shorter course options are available for those with existing skills. Cost: AN INTERVIEW is required before commencement to determine electives chosen, existing skills, before a final cost can be determined.
