Medical Lift/Catering Truck
Truck Lift Body
The lift body is constructed from sandwich panel 100 mm in thickness with a high thermal insulation
value equivalent to R11 minimum. Two single acting hydraulic cylinders will be used on double scissors
lifting system lifting passengers to a minimum height of 5.8 meters. The lift body has front and back
electric roller shutters. A front retractable platform with checkered plate surface, at the front of the lift
body utilizes a hydraulic cylinder, capable of supporting safe transfer of catering trolley and operator
staff to and from the aircraft. Foldable tail lift is provided at the rear utilizing hydraulic lift with safety
guard rails all around and an adjustable tilting threshold at the edge of the lift. The no tail lift is included.
A locking mechanism will be installed inside the lift body according to customers’ requirement. The
maximum lift weight for the body and cargo is 3 tons. The lift body floor will be checkered steel. A split
type refrigeration unit and lighting systems will be installed in the lift body.
Hydraulic System
Rexroth or similar complete hydraulic system and controls. Control panels are provided inside the cab
and also inside the lift body. The truck and lift mechanism utilizes four stabilizer cylinders stationed at
the lift body steel frame mounted to the chassis. A standby emergency hand pump will be provided in
case of engine/pump failure.
Refrigeration System
Refrigeration unit will be Carrier or Thermo King suitable for this application. The unit evaporator will be
mounted inside the lift body and the condensing unit will be mounted on the sub frame attached to the
chassis.
Cab and Chassis (Hino)
Full cab and chassis will be Hino Model 300 Series 714 SWB Year Model 2014, suitable for light duty with
a payload of 4 tons and a five speed automatic transmission. The length of the chassis is 4450 mm.
