For questions call 1-888-888-7020.
Due to ongoing product changes, updated test results and/or industry best practices, this installation procedure may change over time. For updated
installation guides, removal instructions and/or additional installation information, visit eaglewindow.com.
Contact local authorities or waste management companies for proper recycling and/or disposal of removed window or patio door.
Please leave this guide with building owner.

Use caution when working at elevated
heights and around unit openings. Follow

or death.
Follow manufacturers’ instructions for hand
or power tools. Always wear safety glasses.
Failure to do so may result in injury and/or
product damage.
Windows and doors can be heavy. Use safe
lifting techniques and a reasonable number
of people with enough strength to lift, carry
and install window and door products to
avoid injury and/or product damage.
Metal fasteners and other hardware components may corrode when exposed to preservative treated and fire-retardant treated lumber. Obtain and use the
appropriate metal fasteners and hardware as called out by the installation guide to fasten unit to any rough opening made from pressure treated and fireretardant treated lumber. Failure to use the appropriate materials for the installation may cause a failure resulting in injury, property or product damage.
Do not carry or lift unit by extension jambs.
Doing so may result in injury, product or property
damage.

NOTICE
CLEANING
Clean glass using liquid glass cleaner.
Clean exterior frame and sash, and insect screens using mild
detergent and water with a soft cloth and brush.
For hard to clean areas use a nonabrasive cleaner, alcoholand-water or ammonia-and-water.
MAINTENANCE
Do not apply any type of film to insulating glass. Thermal
stress and glass damage can result. Shading devices
(insulating coverings, shutters, etc.) may also cause thermal
stress and condensation damage.
For more information, contact your E-Series dealer.
Buildings constructed prior to 1978 may contain lead paint which could
be disturbed during window replacement. For more information on
proper management of lead paint, visit www.epa.gov/lead.
• Abrasive cleaners will damage glass surface.
• Metal razor blades can damage glass surface and
exterior coating.
• Acid solutions used for cleaning masonry or
concrete will damage glass, fasteners, hardware,
and metal flashing. Protect unit and follow
cleaning product instructions carefully. If acid
contacts unit, wash all surfaces with water
immediately.
NOTICE
Sealants will
damage exterior
coating on
glass.

Jamb
Windows and doors can be heavy. Use safe lifting
techniques and a reasonable number of people
with enough strength to lift, carry and install
window and door products to avoid injury and/or
product damage.
If doors have blinds between the glass, make sure
operator cords are positioned to the jambs.
Fixed Panel
Provide support to frame during panel installation.
1. Lower inactive panels (no hardware holes) onto sill fillers at sill, from interior side of unit.
2. Tip panels into place from the interior.
3. Slide tight against side jambs.
4. Clean silicone squeeze out using isopropyl alcohol.

When fastening, panels must be drawn tight to
side jambs for proper silicone adhesion. Failure
to do so will affect product performance.
Fixed
Panel
•Starting from bottom, fasten fixed panels to
side jambs and head jamb, through predrilled
holes, using #8 x 2-1/8" Zinc & Yellow flathead wood screws (in Pack B).
