How to apply :
Candidates may log in http://eastkhasihills.gov.in, under the caption District
Selection Committee online.

Candidates must register themselves [one time registration] in order to be able to apply for
the post.

Detailed instructions on how to register, uploading of passport size photograph and
signature are provided in the website.

Please read the instructions carefully before registering.

After successful registration, candidates may login and apply for the advertised post by
clicking on the ‘Online Applications’ link.
Fee Payments:
1. After successful submission of the online application, a Challan will be generated for
payment of application fees.
2. Take a print out of the Challan, and deposit the required amount of money at any branch of
the State Bank Of India on or before the last date, as mentioned in the Challan.
3. The Challan already paid NEED NOT be uploaded in the website, but keep for reference in
future if required by the Office.
4. In case a printout cannot be taken immediately, the candidate may print the same by
clicking on the “My Applications” link.
5. Amount of Rs 100.00 for General candidates (Rs 50.00 for ST/SC) in cash has to be made to
any State Bank of India branches. No other payment will be accepted in lieu of online
challan generated from the online application. Fees are non refundable.
6. Last Date :
(i) Last date for applying : 27th April 2015.
(ii) Last date of acceptance of Challan at SBI branches : 30th April 2015

APPLICATION ONLINE, IF REQUIRED.
Important Informations:
1. Interested Candidates must register themselves once only.
2. Only after registering themselves, the candidate will be able to login using the email ID
and password created while registering. Candidates are advised to note the email ID and
password for future reference.
3. After Login the Candidate will be able to apply the mentioned post(s) advertised.
4. District Selection Committee will not accept any application submitted in hard copy.
Incomplete
application
will
be
summarily
rejected
and
no
further
correspondence will be entertained.
5. Candidates are required to clearly indicate both the Divisional and Percentage of
marks in the column captioned “Divisional / Percentage”.
6. Scan and upload a recent colour passport size photograph.
7. Scan and upload the Signature of the candidate on a white paper.
Scanned images must be in .jpg/.jpeg format only and the size of each document must
not exceed 50 KB.
8. Request for change / correction in any particulars in the Application Form shall
not be entertained under any circumstances. The DSC, East Khasi Hills District
will not be responsible for any consequences arising out of furnishing of
incorrect and incomplete details in the application or omission to provide the
required details in the application form. In such cases, the DSC reserves the
right to disqualify the candidate at any stage of the recruitment procedure.
9. Candidate must appear for Written Test / Interview at his/her own expenses.
10. If any candidate is or has been found impersonating or procuring impersonation
by any person or resorting to any other irregular or improper means in
connection with his/her candidature for selection or obtaining support of
candidature by any means, such a candidate may in addition to rendering
himself/herself liable to criminal prosecution, will be liable to be debarred
permanently from any examination or selection by DSC.
11. It is mandatory for all candidates to have a valid email ID for filling up the
application form. The email ID will also be used for further correspondence by
the office, if required.
12. Candidates may track the status of their application by using the same login
credentials.
13. Canvassing Directly or Indirectly will Disqualify a candidate.
