This interactive and reflective 2-day workshop is designed to inform
and equip primary graduate teachers with workplace knowledge and
skills necessary for a successful first year of teaching.

• A practical start: Tips for setting up the learning environment
and personal systems of organisation
• Effective behaviour management
• Preparing for the first day and week of school
• Effective parent communication
• Establishing work and home life balance
Workshop Day 2:
• Using the Australian Curriculum effectively to develop studentcentred long, medium and short term planning
• Assessment, marking, data management and analysis
• Parent conferences
• Open-classrooms
• Introducing age-appropriate homework

Registration Confirmation
Workshop participants will receive a confirmation email on receipt of their registration form and payment. The
confirmation email will include further details with regard to venue access and parking. If you have not received
a confirmation email within 3 days of registering, please contact us so we can confirm your place. Please note
that we are unable to guarantee a place at the workshop until both registration and payment have been
processed. Limited places available.

Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your registration, you must provide written notice 5 business days prior to the course date.
A full refund will then be sent to you. Cancellations without 5 business days notice, or failing to attend a course
for which you are registered, will result in no credit or refund.
