Javier Guzmán Calafell, Deputy Governor, Banco de México (Mexico)
Mr. Guzmán holds a B.A. in economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), where he graduated
with honors in 1976. He also has two masters’ degrees in economics, one from the University of Leuven and the other from
Yale University. He joined the Banco de México in 1980, where he held different top level positions such as Director of External Relations and Director of International Affairs. Mr. Guzmán served as Alternate Executive Director and Executive Director
at the International Monetary Fund, representing eight countries. In 2008, the Center for Latin American Studies’ (CEMLA)
Assembly elected him General Director of that institution. He held that position from January 2010 to February 2013.
Diego Pivoz, Head of Wealth Planning - Latin America, HSBC Private Bank (US)
Mr. Pivoz is a Tax and Estate Planning Attorney with over 15 years of experience dealing with high-net worth clients in Latin
America. Diego is a Director at HSBC Private Bank (Suisse) and the Head of LatAm Wealth Planning. Prior to his existing job,
Diego held a number of senior management roles with the Amicorp Group in Curacao, New York and Barcelona. Diego holds
a J.D. from UBA (University of Buenos Aires, Argentina) with specializations in Commercial and Corporate Law. Diego is a
member of the Buenos Aires Bar and the International Bar Association and has also being awarded a Diploma in International Trust Management by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
Javier Diez, Head of Private Banking, BBVA Bancomer (Mexico)
As an Economist, Mr. Diez began his career as a financial analyst at Inverméxico Casa de Bolsa as a fixed income and equity trader. He directed the international area of BBVA Probursa. Later he was in charge of the Wealth Managment Segment in
Bancomer Casa de Bolsa. He has held various guild positions such as the Chair of the advocacy Committee and member of
the Justice Committee of the AMIB. He is currently the Head of Affluent and Private Banking at BBVA Bancomer in Mexico,
with a presence in cities in Mexico through 69 offices. BBVA Bancomer is the largest Private Asset Manager in Latin America
with over 30 USD Bn of AUM.
Jorge V. Villalobos, President, Cemefi (Mexico)
Mr. Villalobos has been part of Cemefi since the beginning of this institution in 1990. Previously, he served as Coordinator of
Bachelor of Communications at Iberoamericana University in 1989, he created the position of chair of radio and directed the
Radio Ibero initiative, the first radio station of a private university in Mexico. He graduated in Theology from the Free Institute of Arts and Sciences and completed a Masters in Communication and Development at the Universidad Iberoamericana.
He has published dozens of articles on alternative media, philanthropy and third sector. He is also Chairman of Forum Empresa, Latin American movement for Corporate Social Responsibility.
Humberto Garcia de Alba, Chief Investment Strategist Private Banking, BBVA Bancomer (Mexico)
Mr. Garcia has been the Chief Investment Strategist at BBVA Bancomer since January 2008. In this role, Humberto Leads a
team dedicated to design and implement investment strategy for US$22 billion of AUMs for domestic and international markets. Prior to his current position he was Latin America Innovation and Product Development Director for BBVA Private
Banking and Asset Management Latin America. He has a BSc in Economics from ITAM and an MSc en Financial Engineering
from University of Reading and he is currently studying a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from Universidad
Anahuac. Humberto is from Mexico.
Jean Louis Guisset, Head of Private Bank, Invex (Mexico)
Mr. Guisset serves as the Head of Private Bank for Invex. He has more than 10 years of experience in the wealth management field UHNW, HNW and Affuent business management both On and Off shore. He also has experience in Corporate
M&A and project management. Prior to joining Invex, Jean Luis held different positions at Citibank such as Head of Strategy
and Marketing for the HNW and Affluent segments - Banca Privada & Banca Patrimonial at Banamex—Citigroup; Business
Manager - International Personal Bank - EMEA in the UK and Director - Head of International Personal Bank at the Luxembourg Office. He has a degree in Business and Administration from Universite Catholique de Louvain.
Luis Quijano Axle, Partner, The Yucatan Consulting Group (Mexico)
Mr. Quijano is Director of Financial Services at Bepensa Group and Director of Financiera Bepensa, a division of the Group
since 2008. Mr. Quijano also founded The Yucatan Consulting Group, a consulting company. He was previously the Head of
Personal Financial Services at HSBC Mexico, in charge of retail banking products nation-wide. He was also the member of the
Executive Committee and the Committees of Risks, Treasury, Assets and Liabilities and Director of Board of HSBC Seguros.
He is an Industrial and Systems Engineer and has a Master Degree in Finance and a Master Degree in Philosophy.
Gian Paolo Amato, Managing Partner, Cluster Family Office (CFO) (Spain)
Mr. Amato is a Consultant on financial planning, and creation of international structures for investments and asset holdings.
He is also a member of the Investment Committee responsible for managing client´s portfolios at CFO. Previously he worked
in the Global Wealth Management division of Merrill Lynch USA. In this role, he was responsible for managing investment
portfolios for clients in South Florida. Mr. Amato received a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business
and Trade, from Florida Atlantic University. In addition, he holds a Post-Graduate Degree in Wealth Management from the
Institut d'Estudis Financers, and a Master in Corporate Finance from the University of Barcelona. He has taught various
courses, seminars and conferences related to comprehensive wealth management and family office.
Sofía Ize Ludlow, Managing Director, BBVA Bancomer Foundation (Mexico)
Mrs. Ize has been the Managing Director of the Foundation since January 2014. Sofia is responsible of transforming lives of
vulnerable people in Mexico through educational, entrepreneur and cultural scholarships. BBVA Bancomer Foundation invest US$26 million to contribute to reduce school drop out rate through a national scholarship and mentorship program. On
the other hand, the Foundation enhances people capabilities through 22 entrepreneur community center in order to help
people diversify their livelihoods. Finally, they invest in leaders among the cultural spectrum of the country in order to contribute to turn cultural ideas into reality. She has a BSc in International Relations from Universidad Iberoamericana.
Oscar Alerhand, Chief Executive Office, Galileo Investment (US)
Mr. Alerhand is CEO of Galileo Investment Management. Prior to Galileo, from 1996-2005, he held several positions at Merrill Lynch. In his last assignment, he was responsible for the structuring and marketing of fixed income, credit, and currency
derivatives in emerging markets. He was previously a member of the Equity Capital Markets group as head of equity and
convertible origination for Latin America and co-head for the technology sector in the U.S., where he oversaw more than
$10 billion in equity and convertible issuance. Mr. Alerhand holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania, and
was a post-doctoral fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Felipe Espínola M., CEO, Inversiones Aries (Chile)
Mr. Espínola is the Chief Executive Officer at Inversiones Aries, responsible for planning, manage, monitoring and evaluate
the investment portfolio of the company, as financial, real state and venture capital assets. At the same time, he is Director
of the Höhe S.A. Board, company dedicated to the lease of building materials. Before that, he worked as a Financial Analyst
and Columnist at ADVFN PLC, in London, and prior as an Investment Manager at Inversiones Security, in Chile. Additionally,
Mr. Espínola holds a PhD in Finance and Investments and a PhD in Management from the London School of Business and
Finance.
Rodolfo Paiz, Chief Executive Officer, PT Family Office (US)
Mr. Paiz is a family-business consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in 13 countries. He has specialized in the complex
multicultural and multigenerational family business systems of Latin America since 2006. He is also a third-generation member of a successful business family from Guatemala whose honorable reputation is its greatest asset. He is currently the
Senior Partner at The Guayacan Group, Chief Executive Officer of the PT Family Office, and President of Fundasistemas,
among other governance roles. He has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Business (ranked #1 in Global Business programs for 14 consecutive years), where he was named a Presidential Scholar.
María de Lourdes Sanz Mogue, Philanthropy Director, Cemefi (Mexico)
Ms. Sanz is on the Advisory Board of Tech Soup Global, a donating technology organization in 40 countries and represented
by Cemefi in Mexico. She is also a member of the Transatlantic Community Foundation Network and joined the Board of the
Network of Global Initiatives Donor Support, present in 140 countries. She has taught numerous courses, conferences and
workshops and has been invited by universities, associations, foundations, and government entities. She holds a Master’s
degrees in Psychoanalysis from the University of León, Spain; MA in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy by Intercontinental University; and Masters in Corporate Communications from Universidad Panamericana. She holds a degree in Industrial Relations from the Universidad Iberoamericana. She is also a university professor and psychoanalyst.
Klemens Zeller, Executive Director, Wealth Advisor, JP Morgan (Switzerland)
Mr. Zeller has worked as an Executive Director & Wealth Planner at JP Morgan since January of 2012. He has more than 15
years of global experience in advising international HNWI clients. He is also an expert in wealth structuring, wealth preservation, integrated wealth transfer solutions, governance, trust planning and tax optimization strategies in a multi-jurisdictional
context. Previous to his current position, Mr. zeller has held different positions in recognized institutions such as RBC Wealth
Management and UBS. He has a bachelor’s in Business Administration from Higher School of Business Studies, Zurich and is
a Certified Financial Planner
Gisela Noble, Director, Walmart Mexico Foundation (Mexico)
In 1996 Mrs. Noble started working in the not-for-profit sector as a Director of an association for children with cancer. Gisela
also collaborated on the global Walmart initiative concerning Women's 360°. She is involved in civic associations as a Director and has been a member of the CEMEFI Corporate Responsibility Committee and of the Mexican retail association. Gisela
is also a member of the Committee of Issuers of the Sustainability CPI of the Mexican Stock Exchange. Gisela has a BA in
Administration from the Technological Institute of Mexico (ITAM) and completed the Top Management Program from the
Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección. In 2010, ITAM gave her an award for Professional Merit in the Social Sector.
Pablo Casas Godoy, Head of Private Bank, GBM Grupo Bursatil Mexicano (Mexico)
Mr. Casas began his career more than 14 years ago at Citi Private Bank, where he served as Senior Private Banker until 2009.
Having been little more than a year as the Head of the new products area in IXE Casa de Bolsa, he joined the Mexican Stock
Group (GBM) in April of 2010, where he currently is Director of Private Banking. He has extensive experience working with
UHNWI, portfolio management and alternative products such as Private Equity and derivatives among others. Mr. Casas
holds a degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico (ITAM)
Ash Rajan, Former Chief Investment Strategist, Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, Independent Consultant (US)
As former U.S. Chief Investment Strategist for Merrill’s UHNW Investment Office, Mr. Rajan worked closely with Global CIOs
of US, LatAm, Europe and Asia to create global markets content and its translation to affluent private wealth portfolios. Mr.
Rajan was the principal voice for asset allocation and portfolio construction content to UHNW advisors, their clients and
external industry platforms. Mr. Rajan is prolific at Davos & CFA Inst. conferences and has an MBA in International Business
at Loyola College, India and MBAs in Finance from the University of Maryland and the University of Texas, Austin.
Jose Manuel Allende, Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning, Bolsa de Valores de México (Mexico)
Mr. Allende has served as member of BMV Group since 2000. His responsibilities include Planning and Business Development, Investor Relations, Securities Listing as well as activities related to Communication, Education and Promotion. From
2011 to 2012, he served as General Director at Valmer, a subsidiary of BMV Group that provides valuation and risk management services for financial intermediaries and institutional Investors. Previously, he performed as Director of Listed Companies and Business Development. Mr. Allende holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Iberoamericana, a
Master in Finance from the Universidad Anahuac and MBA from IPADE.
Aliya Allen, Chief Executive Officer, Bahamas Financial Services Board (Bahamas)
Mrs. Allen is the CEO and Executive Director of BFSB, a position she has held since January 2012. Prior to this she was a partner in top tier Bahamas law firm, Graham Thompson, specializing in financial services and general corporate law. She was
listed in Chambers Global 2012 as an up and coming leading lawyer. Before entering private practice she was Counsel to the
Office of the Attorney General in international cooperation and civil matters. She holds n LLB (Hons) from the University of
Buckingham and completed the Bar Vocational Course at Manchester University. She is admitted to the English and Bahamas Bars and is a member of the Honourable Society of Gray's Inn.
Luis F. Trevino, Managing Director, Beamonte Investments (US)
Mr. Trevino is Senior Managing Director of Beamonte Investments and head of the private equity arm, Beamonte Capital
Partners, which focuses on Latin American opportunities. Mr. Trevino is also current President of Beamonte Mexico Holdings
(BMXH), a diversified holding company that targets private and public investments in Mexico. Mr. Trevino is president of
AEM in Boston, a non-profit organization that is devoted to assisting Mexican investors an entrepreneurs to adapt to American business practices. Mr. Trevino earned a B.S. in Business Management from the Universidad Latinoamericana, S.C. and a
MBA degree from Boston University.
Brian Graham, Partner, Strasburger & Price (US)
Mr. Graham often advises corporations on resolving immigration compliance issues and developing long-term immigration
strategies. He also counsels immigrant investors about the formation of regional centers, as well as filing individual petitions
for same, and has substantial experience in obtaining workforce visas. Brian is board certified in Immigration and Nationality
Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has previously served as Assistant District Counsel for the Immigration
and Naturalization Service and also worked at the INS General Counsel’s office in Washington D.C.
John M. Dorsey, Partner, Strasburger & Price (US)
Mr. Dorsey is a corporate and transactional lawyer who often handles transactions involving non-U.S. parties or assets. He
advises clients on forming new businesses, strategic investments, asset sales and acquisitions, financing transactions
(including startup and private equity financing), joint ventures, corporate governance and commercial contracts, including
software, technology, digital media, music, image and trademark licensing agreements. John works with companies at all

Mr. Perera represents clients at every stage of federal tax disputes including IRS audits, IRS collection cases, cases at IRS
Appeals, and cases before the United States Tax Court. He also represents clients in disputes with the Texas Comptroller of

Joseph has experience in employee benefit and executive compensation matters, including compliance under ERISA with the IRS and Department of Labor.
