Eneo closes Sweden’s first solar and geoenergy project fund
Eneo Solutions has completed the fundraising for its first project fund, Eneo Primus. The project
fund will build, own, and operate solar and geoenergy installations. It is the first fund of its kind in
Sweden, but it is based on an internationally well-established business model. When the fund is
fully invested, it will yield returns for investors over 20 years.
Eneo Primus offers its investors predictable and stable returns. The customers of the fund are realestate companies, tenants, and property development companies looking for an easy solution to
reduce their energy costs and environmental footprint. Each Eneo Primus project is subjected to a
thorough risk-assessment process and evaluated by an investment committee. Eneo Solutions
manages project identification, construction, and operations on behalf of Eneo Primus. Furthermore,
Eneo Solutions has developed contracts, modelling tools, and risk-assessment models.

By investing in Eneo Primus, a group of Swedish private investors and investment companies become
part of an international trend in third-party financing of distributed renewable energy assets.
