Seminar: Wednesday − 8:00 to 8:50, ENGR. A-207.
Course Objectives:
• Students will gain knowledge about research in engineering that goes beyond their own area of expertise by
being attentive to other student’s presentations.
• Students will write an abstract of their presentation. Due the week before the presentation.
• Students will prepare and present a 20 minute seminar about their research interest area in electrical and
computer engineering.
• Constructive feedback will teach students ways to improve their presentation skills.
• Students will constructively evaluate each other’s presentations. Evaluation and recommendation reports are
due the week following the presentation.
• Class attendance and participation is required.
Required Software: All students will use Microsoft Office’s PowerPoint for their presentation and Microsoft Office’s
WORD for the abstract.
