Program overview
Russian Far East Summer School Program is designed for international students interested in history of the Russian Far East, its socio-economic situation, unique local
politics, demographics and cooperation with the Asian-Pacific Region countries. The program is based on lectures of interactive character provoking students’ analytical
and critical thinking with the analysis of real-life situations, current events, newspaper articles and other publications. Students gain a unique intercultural learning
experience and explore special taste of Russian culture through the different excursions and cultural activities.

 Walk around Vladivostok historic downtown
 Learn about Vladivostok foundation and the Russian Far East history in Arseniev Museum
 Fire a cannon at Vladivostok Fortress
 Meet brave young sailors on Nadezhda Tall-ship

Participate in a traditional Russian wedding performance and games in a folk museum
Make a traditional Russian doll participating in a master class
Feed animals in Safari park
Swim and sunbathe at the seaside

All participants will be assigned a twin room in the VSUES on-campus dormitories (2 students per room). Rooms are furnished with beds, mattresses,
cabinets, desks, chairs, and bookshelves.

Memorable gifts and participation certificates to all participants.
Tuition & Fees: 520 USD
Fee covers all expanses (tuition, accommodation, health insurance,
meals, culture experiences, field trips etc.) except for meals,
airport pick-up services and invitation letter mailing.
*Meals are available in the campus cafeteria and cafes.
