Greenlea Foundation/Spectrum Energy Scholarship Information
Background
The Greenlea Foundation Scholarships through Spectrum Energy (a branch of Enrich+) were
created in 2015 with the purpose of enabling Spectrum Energy’s supports to be available to all.
Through the generous sponsorship from The Greenlea Foundation these scholarships are to be
used for the uptake of Spectrum Energy autism supports. Those selected will work alongside the
Spectrum Energy team to plan the best mix of supports available.
Criteria
Applicants for the scholarships must:
 Identify as living on the autism spectrum/ with autistic traits
 Live in the Waikato
 Be aged 8 and above
 Face financial hardships and would otherwise be unable to access support
Selection
A selection committee of three has been appointed, including a person who lives on the autism
spectrum. The selection committee will review all applications and both successful and
unsuccessful applicants will be contacted by Spectrum Energy staff. The selection process will be
based off of financial need, previous supports accessed and the needs of the applicant. The
decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Applications
Application forms are available from the Enrich+ website or offices. Applications close on May 8th
and the committee will meet in the following week. There is a finite number of scholarships
available but depending on interest and applications we may call for another round of applications
later in 2015.
