iPad Users can view their airtime and data bundle balances, redeem airtime vouchers and purchase data
bundles via the Self Service Portal which can be accessed via the on-net portal, off-net portal or the iPad app
called 8ta Data.

All you need to know...
1. This shall be a once-off Internet bundle.
2. The bundle shall be valid until the end of the following calendar month.
3. Carry-over shall not apply.
4. Out-of-bundle rate of R1.00 per MB shall apply.
5. Upon depletion of the iPad once-off Internet data bundle the subscriber shall be redirected to the
redirect page where they shall be given the choice to:
- Surf at out-of-bundle rates of R1.00 per MB
- Purchase another iPad once-off Internet data bundle
- Top up their Airtime using their credit card or EFT
6. iPad Users can purchase and activate a microSIM card provisioned with access to the iPad data tariffs
from the iStores, Telkom Direct Stores or 8ta flagship stores for the sole use in their iPad.
7. 8ta airtime vouchers are available at all iStores, Edgars Mobile, Jet Cellular, CNA, Checkers Hyper,
Shoprite, Shoprite USave, Altech Autopage Cellular, GloCell, Mr Price, House & Home, Clicks, SPAR, Pick
n Pay, Pick n Pay Hyper, Engen, Metro Cash n Carry, Metro Hyper, Friendly Grocer, Telkom Direct Stores
and 8ta flagship stores (for the full list please visit http://www.8ta.com/get-it/).
8. USSD and SMS balance enquiries and notifications shall not be supported on the iPad.
9. USSD and SMS are not supported on the iPad; hence, these channels cannot be used for data bundle
purchasing.

data bundles via the Self Service Portal which can be accessed via the on-net or off-net portal:

8ta mobile services support soft-cell handover. Prices include VAT. Prices of prepaid data bundles exclude modems. Normal voice services are disabled
with the exception of emergency services (10111, 10177 and 112) and iPad helpdesk (081 101). Prepaid Internet bundles will expire at the end of the
next calendar month from the date of activation. RICA will apply. The service application process will only commence on the presentation of necessary
