2. Go-Fer Auction will be held Wednesday, April 1st during 8th period. Sixth graders will
have their auction in the multipurpose room. Seventh and eighth graders will be in the
middle school gym.
Go-Fer Day Guidelines:
o The purpose of this day is to raise money for student council projects and to have fun.
You should expect regular classroom activities and assignments.
o Use common sense in dressing your go-fers. School dress code is still in effect. We
will not dress boys up as girls or girls up as boys. We will not spray people’s hair.
We want to be more creative.
o Acceptable activities to ask your go-fers would be carrying books or lunch trays,
cleaning lockers/classrooms, performing songs or dances if time allows at the end of
class. Do not put go-fers in any dangerous tasks.
o Signing up to be a go-fer is at your own risk. There is the possibility that you will be
embarrassed – that’s just part of the deal. Go-fers should be good sports – relax and have
fun!
Go-Fer Auction Rules:
o DO NOT bid if you do not have the money. This is not fair to the council counting on
the money to support its projects or the person being purchased. Twenty dollars is
the maximum bid.
o Only two people can buy one go-fer.
o Students or people employed by the school may purchase a go-fer.
o Cash or check must be paid right after the auction or by 8:10 AM on Thursday. 7/8
grades, please pay Mrs. Langle. 6th graders pay Mrs. Meadows.
3. Go-Fer Day begins at 8am on Thursday, April 2nd
4. 8th grade transitions students remember that on Friday (3/27) you will go to room 132 in the
HS.
