addition to NHS orthotics services. Some of these have expressed an interest in polio or Post Polio Syndrome. This is
not a comprehensive list, but a starting point. We are not making specific recommendations and cannot guarantee
the outcome of any consultation.
This list is as correct as we have been able to make it, but if you notice anything that is incorrect or misleading,
please let us know. We do not accept liability for any errors, omissions or how information is used.
We are in the process of adding details of more orthotics professionals - if you have
ideas for people we should include in this list or ideas for improvements, we welcome
your views.

insist that our technicians meet any polio
client when we are making bespoke callipers,
as we feel this enhances the treatment and
ensures that everyone understands the
problem of any of our clients. It allows for full
open discussion between clients, orthotist and
technician, which is always an enriching
experience. We also run an open and
transparent pricing policy where we discuss
and agree the cost of any treatment in
advance and then fix this price so the client
knows exactly the final cost with no hidden
surprises. We offer a complete support
service after orthotic supply and are able to
carry out most repairs and modifications to our
orthoses while a client waits in our clinic.”
