MoneyCard Coded Value Adder A Value Transfer Machine for Multi-housing Applications That Can Add Value to SmartCards Without Cash The Coded Value Adder (CVA) VTM is designed to add value through the use of generated codes. To secure a code, the resident is instructed to visit a web site or call a telephone number where they will exchange their credit or debit card information to authorize a value transfer for a numeric code. Once they have the code, they will go to the laundry room where the CVA is located, insert their SmartCard into the CVA and enter the code using the easy to operate keypad. The CVA will then add the value that has been authorized to their SmartCard. All of this is made easier with the user friendly, bi-lingual (English and Spanish) interface that directs the customers through simple steps. The CVA is good for both the residents and the operator; it eliminates the need for collections since no cash is accepted at the machine, and since there is no cash, it creates a more secure environment in the laundry room. As an additional benefit, the CVA can also be used for instant refunds. The CVA is available in front access only..
