Directors:
Our February general meeting will be on Monday, February 23 at 7:00 pm at
the Lakeside Rodeo Hall. There will not be a general fair board meeting in March. Our
April meeting will be held on Monday, April 27 at 7:00pm. If you have any
questions, please feel free to call any board member.
It’s almost that time again, the Fair BBQ/Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, March
15th. Karen Collins and her volunteers have been working long hours to make this
year’s auction a huge success! Tickets for meals can be purchased from any 4-H or
FFA member for only a $10 donation per ticket. This fundraiser is the only source of
income that runs YOUR fair. Together we can raise money and make this year’s Junior
Fair the best ever! We are requesting donation items such as handmade items, craft
items, quilts, shirts, hats, etc. for the auction. BAR-B-QUE work day is Saturday,
March 14. Please contact Karen Collins at (619) 715-3885 or email at
[email protected] for more information.
Also it is not too early to start thinking about fair. We are always looking for people
and/or businesses to sponsor a trophy or belt buckle award for this year’s fair. For
more information please contact Jamie Dyer at (619) 445-8261.

We are also looking for businesses interested in advertising at the fair. This is a great
way for businesses to show their support of our fair and advertise at the same time. For
more information about securing space for a business banner contact Dave Meyer at
(619) 390-8178.
Please check our website for flyers and scholarship information.
